An Playfield is a newly established B&B on the western end of the Dingle Peninsula at the foot of Mt. Brandon. It is built on a playing field across the road from what was once the local school. The house has magnificent views of the entire parish and as far as the Blasket Islands.

We spent a long weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a room on the top floor which was spacious, nicely decorated with a good size on-suite. We went to bed to a beautiful sky of stars and woke up to a generous view of mountains. The hosts are lovely and nothing was too much trouble. There was good choice at breakfast and we were particularly partial to the homemade scones. It is about a 15 minute drive into Dingle for evening dining and drinking and a good location for travelling around on day trips. Would definitely stay here again. Good value for money.

Lovely B and B, in a Gorgeous location. About 10 mins drive from Dingle. Wonderful hosts who serve a brilliant continental breakfast, if you get the chance to have the scones. Do it. I would highly recommend.

The most amazing house with the most amazing view with lovely people running it. Couldn’t have been a better trip away. Definitely come back again. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Gemma & Rory were fabulous hosts. My husband Mick wanted to go to Ireland to celebrate his 60th birthday. Thank you so much to our hosts who were so very friendly. Your house is so beautiful, clean as a pin, lovely shower and great breakfast with lovely homemade scones. Gemma even made Mick some homemade biscuits for his birthday. Even though this B&B is about a 12 minute drive away from downtown Dingle, it’s still in a wonderful location. The surrounding scenery is absolutely beautiful! In addition to that, the hosts are amazing! They’re friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and had a delicious breakfast every morning.

We stayed in An Playfield for one night and it was amazing stay. I have work for a big hospitality group myself, and I must say that this place was incredible. Starting with the location, views and ofcourse delicious breakfast. Gemma and Rory were super nice and so accommodating. Definitely will be staying again with them! Very friendly and nice place. Lovely choice of things for breakfast, including luscious home made scones and muffins! Gemma and Rory were great hosts, and nothing was too much trouble, including making us mugs of tea when we wanted some! Super spacious room with great views, and very comfy bedding! They also gave us good recommendations for places to eat in Dingle, which was really useful.

Stayed here recently for three nights and would love to have been able to stay longer. The house and our room were well decorated and spotless, the scenery was beautiful, and the hosts, Gemma and Rory, could not have been more helpful or friendly. Parking is available on site which is perfect for getting in and out of Dingle (10min drive). Do yourself a favor and make sure you try one of Gemma's homemade scones at breakfast - they are divine!

Wonderful place to stay in a wonderful location. We enjoyed staying in the country sorroundend by the sheep. The room was very beautiful and clean.
