Such a peaceful, beautiful place. Loved the riding on the beach and the breakfast was great. Great place. We spend two nights and it was a great place to have as our base to explore the area. I could have looked at the horses in the fields and hillsides for hours it was so iconic. So glad that we were...

I stayed there for 4 days and at the first time I was wondering why there is no warm water until I realised that it just takes länger on Iceland to get warm water! I really enjoyed staying there, nice girls where showing me the horses and also went riding with me. I can really recommend this place. And for...

Went in for a quick coffee stop, ended up staying for an hour talking to the wonderful owners and staff. The location is great, plenty of interesting things to see in the area. The staff had all the details and excellent knowledge of the area. You feel like a part of a big family as soon as you walk in!

Our group of 3 adults rented one of the cottages, but the place was slow the day we visited and we were instead given the entire guesthouse to ourselves! We had our choice of bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a roomy Kitchen/living room with great views of the countryside. Our stay was great and breakfast was very good.

I stayed here while on an organised tour around Iceland and it was one of my favourite farmstays. The owner is a lovely woman and you feel like you're part of the family. The dining area is like the kitchen of a house, and she'll announce what she's making for dinner (usually fresh fish caught that day). After our dinner,...

The tile says it all. The horse ride was excellent. Lots of different options available. We opted for a 3h ride on the beach and had a wonderful time. The horses & the instructor were very good. But the guesthouse is way overpriced. We paid $150 for a tiny room and since they delegate all the hospitality tasks to summer...

We enjoyed our stay at the Lysuholl Guesthouse. We stayed in one of the cabins. It was clean, but basic. Do not go expecting luxury accommodations. The location, however, is wonderful. We went horseback riding and enjoyed it. The leader did a good job of keeping the ride interesting for riders with differing abilities. I would note though that it...

We just returned from a 2 night stay at this beautiful place. We stayed in one of the summer cottages, which was just the right size for the 3 of us. Very clean and cozy. Amazing views. The best parts were the 2 hour horseback ride on the beach with the sweetest horses and the wonderful food prepared by Johanna....

Family owned horsefarm. The best about this place is the location, I could spend hours just staring at the landscape, mountains and the sea. it is also a good space to explore the hole peninsula. We stayed here for three nights, first two in a cabin and the last one in the guesthouse. The cabings were clean but simple. Good...

We had the most amazing time here. I managed to tick many to do boxes: Northern lights, horse riding on the beach, bathing in a natural outdoor hot pot, swimming in hot mineral water. The cabin was lovely with stunning views. The hosts were lovely with great stories, told with humour. The food was divine. Fresh caught fish, delicious lamb,...
