After a day of sightseeing in Snaefellsbaer, we checked into Guesthouse Hof for a one-night stay. We were in the main house, in an apartment with three double rooms on the ground level, a kitchen, bathroom, and living area. Upstairs was a loft with a few more single beds. Accommodation was basic and no frills, but it was clean and...

Dirty and unprofessional staff. I hardly have words to describe the experience of staying there. I think pictures speak louder than words. There are way better places to stay and this one was even very expensive.

We booked 2 houses with multiple rooms since we were a group. Each house had 3 rooms with varying bed numbers. They also had a 2nd floor area with more beds. The kitchen has utensils and an oven. Then the dining/living area was big enough to fit the group together for meals. Each house also has a jacuzzi that can...

The location was good. It was a 5 min walk to the beach and had a nice view. The reception was in a small room near the entrance and service was speedy. The receptionist was also very friendly. The guesthouse was perfect for our group. Since we were 8 pax, we got 2 guesthouses so we wont be so cramped....

there are 2 sides to each cottage, on has a double bed and a single bed, the other just a double bed. The double rooms are tiny, no place for luggage and you can't open the bathroom door if you're sitting on the chair next to it. We could hear the people in the other room talk, so you have...

We stayed for 2 nights towards the end of our ring road trip in June. The location is serene and very close to nature. I thought the grass on the roofs was a nice touch. Till now we reminisce about the mornings observing and watching the birds perching and singing on the roofs. The room was just nice for 2...

I really liked this guesthouse - this not a hotel but a guesthouse located on the ocean. Rooms are modest but the location is great. I was on a photo trip and we stayed here two days driving over the Snaefells Peninsula. Plenty of things to see here. Accommodations were clean but small. Typical Icelandic breakfast included - juice, coffee,...

By far, the best aspect of this accommodation site is its location. Spectacular views of the glacier, especially on a clear day. We stayed in a private room with private bathroom. The little cottages were very cute, but oh so tiny! Literally you can't be overweight and stay here. The bathroom is minuscule and the shower so tiny. The view...

Staff has been very nice, however I found this place not so good! Room was clean however really too small. Bathroom was a nightmare, dirty and crowded because there were too many persons in the house. This kind of house cannot host 7/8 persons because it has not the potential to, it would be better to reduce rooms from 3...

in each apartment it is 3 bedrooms and 2 beds in each. so a total of 6persons can sleep unless you rent the hole apartment and then it is 10 beds inside. usually the are left overs from tea, coffe, rice, pasta in the houses. i hope you had a nice trip in iceland.

The cottage has sea view. It's a beautiful place to stay and visit the west coast of Iceland. Strongly recommend it. The double bed room/cottage is not very spacious though! If you look for such a place, this might not be a good option. But rather than that, it's a clean and very welcoming place.
