With just 38 guest rooms and bungalows, Blue Waters Inn sits in 42 acres of tropical gardens directly on the beach at Batteaux Bay, Speyside, Tobago. Getting to us takes approximately 85 minutes from the airport. Speyside is super relaxed with quick access to the Main Ridge rainforest and the key underwater sites of the island. Twitchers and divers / snorkellers are very well catered for and the hotel is perfect for those wishing to simply switch off and enjoy the hotels tranquil location. The beach shelves gently and is considered safe for bathing. Lay by the pool or in the open air jacuzzi and admire the view across Batteaux Bay towards Bird Island and Little Tobago in the near distance. Learn to dive at our 5 star PADI dive centre complete with 2 Newton dive boats or explore the rainforest with one of the local guides. All our rooms are air-conditioned and face the sea. Most offer fabulous sea views and are only a few steps from the sand. The One and Two Bungalows are bigger and offer either one or two bedrooms. These are located a few steps from the beach have a patio. Deluxe Oceanview Studios are also very spacious and have an open plan kitchen / living room. Inter-connecting rooms are available for families needing more space. The fabulous Driftdeck offers dining alfresco with views straight out across the bay whilst the more elegant "Aqua" offers fine cuisine two or more nights per week.

We stayed at the Inn for four fantastic days. The service was second to none with a staff that was consistently friendly and helpful. Particularly we must mention the outstanding effort that the main chef, Jason, made to provide us with tailored, delicious and healthy vegetarian

Hotel staff were excellent - all friendly and helpful. Especially Erica - she was fantastic. When my wife got sunburn she got aloe for her without asking. The chef Jason was brilliant. He would always come out and speak and seemed genuinely interested. He cooked local cuisine

We found everything very expensive, the bar, restaurant, boat trips and the room itself. Yes, it's lovely to have the sea right outside the bedroom, the almost private bay is stunningly beautiful and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. But the WIFI is very poor and they

This inn is a very comfortable place to hang out for a few days, and its remoteness is a real plus (for me). The setting is great, as it is on a nearly private cove and right at the water's edge. The rooms were somewhat basic, small and simple given the price, and didn't feel

We stayed 4 nights. The room was fine though perhaps not as "luxurious" as we had been led to believe, but all clean and well looked after. The rooms all face onto the sea and so does the bar and restaurant - lovely to hear the waves as you enjoy a drink! Staff were polite,

Does the hotel offers a food and drink all inclusive package?
Hi, Yes there is a full board option but the service was so bad suggest you eat locally. Food and service was awful. Better options for dining elsewhere.

Simon, thank you for reaching out and requesting information. Our breakfast entails a very generous continental buffet, with hot items available A la carte. There are usually two options for sliced fruits and one whole fruit. As mentioned by some past guests here, there are salads and many options for seafood. However if you are strictly vegetarian, you can certainly let us know and the kitchen will be more than happy to cater to you. There are limited options available within walking distance of the hotel.

I am sure that the hotel will respond but it is possibly a health and safety issue. Lots of places to sit and relax under the stars!

Hi Traveller, Thank you for your question and for choosing Blue Waters Inn for your upcoming holiday! You can utilize one of the licensed taxi drivers available at the airport, or you can contact the hotel directly and we can have one sent to pick you up. The both prices will be similar, so no need to worry. Look forward to having you with us!
