My wife and I stayed at Bacolet Beach Club for our honeymoon. We arrived in the night and the receptionist was very friendly,as well as the rest of the hotel staff. We stayed in room 12 which gave us a beautiful view of the sunrise,...More
The Bacolet Beach club is a great little hotel.
The good points!
We stayed in room 14 which was close to the pool and was probably one of the best rooms. The rooms all have some form of seaview, with some better than others. The...More
A friend of mine decided to have her wedding in Tobago, so after much searching, review reading and deliberating with my boyfriend (who accompanied me on the trip) we settled on Bacolet Beach Club. When we arrived we were greeted by two (kind of bored...More
It's difficult to write this review because we had a lovely holiday at Bacolet Beach Club so it would be easy to say the hotel is brilliant, etc. etc. However, if I try to be objective, then the hotel I think is average.

There were children staying with their families at the same time as us and they seemed to be enjoying themselves. They were mainly children aged 5 upwards but I can't see why younger children couldn't be accommodated. The swimming pools would be safe with close supervision as the one near the newer block was quite deep at one end. The beach was sandy and good for sand castles etc tho the sea was quite rough and children would again need close supervision. It would be possible to play on the edge in the waves with no problem. The beaches over near Shore Point were more suitable as they were not so rough. However all in all i think it would probably be fine for children
I don't have children my self. But I would say it's safe for children. Depending on the age of the child. They don't have any entertainments. There is quite a few steps down to the beach. I don't remember seeing high... More
