Nice hotel with basic rooms, cleaned. We have found a well mantained hotel with a good restaurant , both at dinner and breakfast. It's located 30 minutes by car from the Turtles Center. The beach is private but not closed to external in a nice position.

The rooms we had were quite comfortable. Our children were in a triple and we had a double. There was ample hot water and it was quiet at night. The food at the restaurant was a buffet style and was average as many of these types of places are as they target the lowest common

Dear Mr. Rohan, Thank you so much for your feedback. We highly appreciate good comments on ours rooms and food. With regards to the beach, we really do beach cleaning daily in our area. Unfortunately, during weekend and eid holidays many people come to do camping on this beach. Even there are sign boards still they ignore. I apologized that our reception staff did not take note and reacted to your suggestions. But rest assured that your suggestion of warning signs has been considered. Lastly, we are very happy to know that you had a relaxing and enjoyable stay with your family during you stay with us. Regards, Luz

Hi, Yes it was guided. Difficult to say whether you can do it by yourself, but the guys seem to know where to look for, and I'm certain they will make sure you get to the point and find turtles, otherwise you'll be refund OMR 3 if I remember well. We were refund because turtles didn't show that night. Hope this help. Regards Samir

hi, i was there in august this year, it is few hours (250 km, 3-4 hours) drive from Muscat, good road, i would advise you to take rent a car.roads are pretty good and rather empty, place is really easy to find and also from muscat you have several attractions to see on the way there. from muscat to sur it is higway, you can also take way from Yiti which is a must see via local road to cut Hajar mountains. On the way to sur you have Bimmah sinkhole , aslo Quriyat is a nice town to see so just grab an opportunity and take rent a car, gas is pretty cheap also, so for a full tank should not be more than 8-10 EUROS

Hi Rent a local fishermans boat. The hotel can arrange this. The fisherman will know where to bring you for great snorkeling. Gear is available but better bring your own. If you fancy, catch a crayfish and barbecue it on the beach in the evening. Same fisherman will arrange you a nice BBQ place. Locally you will not find scuba gear but I believe can rent it in Muscat and bring it along (we presume you will rent a car) Arrange in advance with a local club and be prepared for steep prices. PM me if you like name and phone of a great local guy with a boat.
