I recently spent 3 nights at the Octopus Resort doing my PADI open water dive course - the PERFECT place to do this course. So many fantastic dive sites, so close to the resort. The resort itself was great and I have every intention of going back but there are a couple of small drawbacks that visitors should be aware...

This was our 4th visit to Octopus and once again it was perfect. If you can stretch the budget I highly recommend Point 3 or 4 "bures" however the beach front bures are still very very nice. We started in the beach front and upgraded to the point last year and this year. All the staff are extremely welcoming and...

From the we arrived on the white sandy beach of Octopus Resort we could tell it was a special place! We were greeted by a bunch of happy smiling locals singing and welcoming us to their island. It was this wonderful vibe and warmth that all the staff at Octopus continued to radiate that made the whole holiday such a...

We spent 3 nights here in early March. We flew from Auckland and spent a night either side of this at Denarau Island (a night each at the Sofitel and the Blu Radisson - a nice way to compare hotels!). The trip over on the resort boat was fairly bumpy. We both have quite a lot of boating experience but...

I booked my family and I into Octopus Resort for one week from 26/05 - 02/06/2013. Despite the weather, which of course cannot be helped, we had such a lovely time. If you are looking for a place to get away from a busy lifestyle, Octopus Resort is a great option. We were isolated enough so as not to worry...

I stayed at Octopus after 3 months volunteering, it was the perfect end to a perfect trip! The staff were so so lovely, one of the main points was the fact that when discussing a massage with the spa I told them about having a bad back, within 5 minutes she had organised for me to have a new mattress...

Love it! This friendly, comfortable, laid back resort is located on one of the 10 best beaches in the world (as voted in Conde Nast Traveller). To me, though, the best benefit is that it is on Waya Island, which is beautiful and also has authentic Fijian Villages on it that co-mingle in a way that other resorts would do...

I spent 6 days here and it was all I wished for. The staff exemplified the Fiji spirit of friendly and relaxed, the natural surrounds were beautiful especially the reef, which we dived 6 times and snorkelled every day. If you want private luxury and man made beauty give this a miss...but if you want comfortable, clean, natural, relaxing around...

I stayed here with a friend in November 2011 and absolutely recommend it to others. The trip to Waya Island from the mainland was all part of the adventure and one of the highlights of my trip was departing the ferry, climbing into a small dingy and gliding into the beachfront resort surrounded by perfect aqua waters... as we drew...
