It’s important in reviewing somewhere to think “would anyone like this” and from other reviews, clearly there are visitors for whom this remote piece of Scotland is idyllic. I am not one of them. I understand its appeal and other reviews and the website encouraged me to book but, up close, it was just not for me. What could be...

Special bnb, location and hosts! Plenty of character made all the more special by the amazing hospitality of Seori and Pauline. It was a unique treat to eat dinner with their family. A home cooked meal of restaurant quality really hit the spot! Very relaxed and responsive hosts. One of our best bnb experiences! Wish we had stayed for longer...

Don't come to Peatcutter's Croft with preconceptions or your received standards of what b and b's should be. This is different. Nearly eight miles down a lonely track lies this tiny community. Peatcutter's Croft, run by Seori and Pauline, professionals with intimate knowledge of their surroundings is not for those expecting five star accommodation. Come here and gaze over Little...

We simply loved our three nights at this unique B&B. The welcome from the engaging hosts was fantastic and the dinners sat at the kitchen table were delicious accompanied by some great conversation. Breakfasts are equally good and again your hosts are full of local knowledge to ensure you maximise your time in this lovely part of the world. It's...

We felt very much part of the family, including Bilbo our dog, during our stay at the Peatcutter's Croft. The croft house is quite remote being eight miles down a narrow road from the main A832 - it really is 'away from it all' amongst a handful of other dwellings. The accommodation is self contained with its own entrance as...

Our stay here felt a bit like holidays on a farm with all the chicken, ducks and cats around. We booked a dinner in advance and that was a great decision. Pauline and Seori are great hosts and we very much enjoyed the conversation and the food we took together with them. The room is big and cosy with very...

Visited with family, great place, very helpful, amenable, chatty! Kids loved all animals and welcomed by resident children. Food very good and great quantities, wholesome home fare, room good size with stove, helped on winter evening. A fair distance off the beaten track but worth the effort.

Seori, Pauline and the rest of the family is fantastic company and the food is highly recommendable! The location is very remote, authentic and relaxing. Nothing to stress you out and close to nature. Wester Ross is on the doorstep more or less and one of the most beautiful corners of Scotland!

If you ever get the chance (only has one room), go for it. A beautiful room/suite in a renovated house in the middle of nature. The place is beautiful. The peace and tranquility. The family is great and sharing and evening meal with them is well worth it. Really high-quality raw ingredients cooked with love and care. Fantastic atmosphere. Great...
