Spent one night here on a bike trip. Booked a Junior Suite with lake view and balcony. Huge room and enormous balcony! Very comfortable beds. Nice bathroom. Very nice staff. Appears many people go there for Kaffee and Kuchen in the afternoons because it was crazy when we arrived but much quieter at dinner time. Dinner was solidly good. Breakfast very nice and their eggs made on demand were VERY plentiful and delicious. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We enjoyed the bruschetta as starter and a veal liver as main course, good quality with sufficient and well cooked vegetables. Very friendly service. Meal completed with a nice spatburgunder wine from Baden. Espresso also good, decaf not great, we will return!

We stayed for just one night in this lovely small hotel on the south bank of the Möhnesee. This did mean we did not see much sun despite the very sunny and mild Feb weekend, however our room had a great view (see photo) of the lake. All the staff we came into contact with were friendly and polite. We had a very pleasant dinner in the restaurant and a lovely breakfast in the morning. We stayed in what is a new room with a balcony on the first floor which was spacious, warm, clean and comfortable - see our photos. The only small issue for me as a light sleeper was that as we were above the restaurant, so my sleep was disturbed. The overall location is great and only a few minutes from the historic dam and the nearest motorway. For runners there was a lovely 7km run across the lake and back. We will return one day!

This is a great spot on the Mohnesee. The hotel is very nice. The only downside was no tea or coffee in the room. (I love a cup of coffee in bed) The staff are vey friendly . The restaurant was good, Great food. The Breakfast was also great. We would recommend this hotel and would go back again.
