The hosts, Sara and Gebi, are very thorough in their running of the lodge and the trips they guide. They are safety conscious and give you a general tour of the property on your arrival with instructions on what to do should you meet a bear or other wild life. They provided walking poles for me on a couple of...

We booked the 4 night Yukon Winter Sampler package which included ski-plane transfer from Whitehorse, dogsledding (driving your own sled), guided snowmobiling (on your own snowmachine), guided snowshoeing/nature walk, and guided ice fishing, guided aurora spotting. Hosts and guide were amazing. 24 hour service. Included excellent home cooked meals.

The Lodge, Cabins, surrounding and the Hosts are just amazing! The food is excellent, daily fresh prepared, health and in summertime veggies and salad are from the own garden. Were there more than once since our first stay in 2013.

My husband and I decided to spend our honeymoon up there this past July. Sarah and Gebhard were wonderful, and very accommodating!! I had a number of food sensitivities, therefore a "picky" diet, and Sarah accommodated me with every meal, which was wonderful! Our cabin was cozy and peaceful, and the view on the dock was breathtaking! We loved spending...

I planned my dream holiday which had dog sledding, Northern lights, snowmobiling, the sights and just taking in the area and enjoying it. it's the perfect place to go for a holiday. There isn't one thing I would fault about the place and the area around you is awesome. Sarah and Gebi are one of...

Been a member for close to 10 years and was never moved to submit a review, but this place is special. The prior reviews are spot on; the location is spectacular, the hosts are outstanding and the experience is one of a kind. This is a true Yukon experience for the most active travelers or the more sedentary. Stayed several...

My husband and I stayed at the lodge for 4 days in late February. From the moment we boarded Air North flight in Vancouver there was nothing that disappointed us, except the fact that we had to leave so soon. I certainly could have stayed for 4 weeks easily. Loved everything - the hosts, the property, the scenery, the peace...

There is not much more I can say about this wonderful place that has not been said already. It is everything and more. I am vegetarian. Sarah went to special effort to make sure my meals were superb - nutritious and presented like a gourmet. I felt as if I was visiting old friends. I do believe that one gets...
