I apologize for having to write this, but certain types of behavior need to be exposed. I had the pleasure of visiting the area on August 17th, after attending a dive trip in the associated dive school, which was wonderful. While waiting for the local bus I visited the restaurant. The view from the restaurant’s terrace is nice and the beach lovely. However, the service at the restaurant ended up being poor. My meal and coffee which I received from the waitress was decent. I was ready to leave, and the waitress was now finished with her shift and replaced by a waiter. Upon asking the waiter if there was a restroom available, I was promptly rejected in a condoning way since I wasn’t staying at the Hotel, and not allowed to leave the hotel via the main entrance. If the waiter would’ve explained why or delivered the message in a polite way, my reception would have been different. Finally, all restaurants and cafes in Italy are by law mandated to have a restroom available. So unfortunately, being a non-Italian speaker, it’s hard not to feel if there wasn’t discrimination from his part.…
This delightful hotel is set with its own private beach, and has in addition a very nice pool. The hotel sits on the bay and boasts a very nice terrace that enables one to view the sea etc. Rooms are pretty good , typicalk Italian lots of marble, not particularlygernerous oin size but adequate. Staff are really helpful, from reception thru to bar and waiting staff all good and cheerfull. Be prepoared if staying at weekends in September and October the hotel does cater for weddings which can be noisy affairs !
The hotel Staff kindly assisted us wit taxi booking from /to Airport. The hotel is located in a nice location on beach. We have had a small room with Gulf View which was very nice: new furniture and excellent daily cleaning service. At restaurant the table were reserved for each individual family and you can come whenever you want as per time schedule. Although the dinner is menu basis served, there are 5 or 6 choices for the entry and main dish. What we liked most: 1.The 7 persons from the animation team which did their best to keep busy children and adults as well. Good job! 2. The lovely terrace located on gulf side. Things to be improved: 1. Ash trays on the beach. Each umbrella has an ash tray. The umbrellas are pretty close to each other. So that children and non-smoking persons has to bear the smoking persons around them. And they were quite a few! 2. Breakfast has some variety, but not at all vegetables(tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, etc) and all the days the same thing! After 14 days we hated it! Anyway, on the whole it was very nice and we had visited may places around given the bus stop in quite near hotel.…
Excellent rooms and bathrooms, clean and comfortable. Good food, although they serve breakfast and dinner inside (outside would be much better). Nice and clean beach. Excellent animation guys. (Hello to Mateo and Gaylord 😉) A lot of sport facilities! Decent internet. All in all good choice
This Hotel has recently been awarded 4 star status. My family and I enjoyed our Full Board 7 nights stay. Naturally, it does have some teething problems in upholding its 4 star status. The food is good without being spectacular. Breakfast does seem a bit basic and the ware on offer does not satisfy the needs of Northern Europeans. The Hotel boasts a private beach which is good and the sea is relatively clean and transparent with a greenish hue. It is shallow for up to around 50 yards. However, there are sections of the sea which are a bit rocky and I cut my big toe on one occasion. The animation staff is very friendly and makes sure both adults and children are entertained without being too pushy or imposing. The grounds could do with a few improvements - the lawns seems a bit patchy, uneven and bald. A few more flowers and shrubs near the beach would cheer the place up a bit. They should see the grounds of the nearby Hotel Corte Rosada for inspiration. James, the Hotel owner goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable. Overall, I would be happy to return.…
