Very clean rooms and public areas, comfortable stay. Had some hesitation for shared bathroom, but they are very new and clean, so no problems at all. The lady running the place does her best to help. However it is quite expensive for shared bathroom rooms.

Very nice welcoming, very clean rooms and bathrooms (common bathrooms with hair dryer and large shower). Very nice breakfast, with several homemade products (Included Eagles). Real guesthouse, English and German spoken by the hostess. Functional comfort; very good value for money. Close to Jokusarlon.

This is great little place to stay if you are exploring along the south and eastern parts of Iceland. We stayed here for 3 nights and was an ideal place to stay to explore Jokulsalon and then into the eastern fjords. The accommodation is comfortable and practical but don't expect 'Hotel' style rooms. It is great for just getting a...

I was here last year while driving the ring road. Its perfect as a one night stop. It is ran by a very friendly young couple and is set in lovely surroundings. The rooms are very well kept and well recommended if you are in the area

I stayed in this guesthouse in August. The host Barbara was really helpful, especially when we got lost. The rooms were clean and tidy, as were the bathrooms. Had a fabulous breakfast with the best waffles I have ever tasted! This is a small guesthouse with only 4 rooms so it was never overcrowded or noisy. I thoroughly enjoyed staying...

We stayed here as a family of 4 one night when driving the ring road. It is a basic guest house but very clean and comfortable with all modern amenities. The woman who manages the property is friendly, helpful, accommodating. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were shared on the ground floor and were very clean. There was an occasional line-up...

The guesthouse lies just off the ringroad between Höfn and Jökulsarlon. Quite ideal if you want to visit this area. The guesthouse is basic but good: The rooms as well as the common areas (breakfast room, bathrooms) were absolutely clean, the beds were nice and comfortable. The bathrooms were all new with a great rainshower. Unfortunately the rooms themselves had...

This was a basic but comfortable guesthouse. The wifi worked well and the breakfast was enjoyable. Service was friendly and welcoming. There are minimal options for dinner in the area so bring food with you if you don't want a long drive to eat dinner.

I staying here from Ireland on Sunday 28th July 2013. If you are looking for somewhere in this area for a stop off on your travels around the ring road, then you cant go wrong, reasonable price, and very clean and comfortable. Very friendly and fun hosts as well! Great location, the views are amazing.

Modern, beautiful, comfortable guesthouse. The hosts were really nice and the breakfast was so delicious with homemade jams and waffles. Bathrooms were big and modern with rain showers and hair dryers. There isn't any place to eat for dinner. Had to go to the farm house next door or to a hotel about 5 mins drive away. Wifi is a...

“Most rooms except for one are upstairs. Both showers and toilets are downstairs so if you don't want to climb stairs to go to the toilet. You might like to take room No. 1 which is downstairs next to the dining room. It can be a little noisy in the morning though since it is next to the breakfast room.”
