The staff was really friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean. The breakfast was good but the dinner was amazing! It was the best lamb I've ever tasted and the price was not bad at all. Lovely little guesthouse.

Remote and out of the way. On working sheep farm. We stayed for one night and had two rooms on ground floor. Walls were thin - could hear people using bathroom next door. Needs freshening up - a bit jaded. Food good at dinner and tea/coffee available free. Breakfast varied and fairly plentiful. Views of glacier are fantastic. Friendly staff.

We only stayed one night but would've loved to have stayed longer! Loved the location (a bit remote but lovely). So clean and fresh! They were in the middle of bringing their sheep in for the winter so it was a very busy time for them, but certainly something unique to experience. Breakfast was excellent and staff was very friendly!...

We stayed 3 nights to use as a base for touring the locale (Jokulssarlon, Stokksnes, etc), and were impressed with the quality of this budget accommodation. A working farm, the views from the cabin rooms are stunning, and the rooms themselves are quite spacious and very comfortable and quiet. We also were impressed with the dinner menu and the food,...

this was the closet place we found near our glacier trekking place that was within our budget. it's a working farmhouse which makes it pretty off the main route, but the view and the night sky is gorgeous. we had booked two rooms in the main building with shared bathrooms, and it was pretty challenging having to wait for your...

The guesthouse is situated in a great spot with wonderful views all around. It was very convenient for me to get to my glacier hike the next morning. I drove all day from the airport so I was tired and appreciative that they served dinner. The free breakfast was also very nice! I stayed in the main building on the...

This was the closest available B&B we found near Jokulsarlon but it was a good 15-20 mins drive form there. The guesthouse is a working farmhouse and it was quite an amazing experience to stay there. You have to take a local road off of route 1 to get to the guesthouse but it's pretty easy to find. We had...

Had a pleasant stay here, although the room was a bit small, the house was warm and the food, both dinner and breakfast was excellent. Can recommend the farm reared lamb. The views from the house are superb.

Located a fair distance off the road, this small hotel with spectacular views was just what we needed after a day of driving and hiking. We also ordered dinner here and were served by a lovely young waitress who was super friendly and helpful. The dinner (and breakfast) were excellent, especially if you like either fish or lamb. This is...

The guesthouse is a bit further than Jokusarlon and Skaftafell than we would have liked (that is why we were there), but it is a gorgeous location and the rooms are simple, but comfortable (think Ikea). The restaurant on-site was okay - dinner was a bit overpriced, but that is not only common in Iceland, but we were so grateful...
