Went on a 3 day horse riding holiday with friends. Days spent hacking out for 4 hours and evenings driving around the scenic coast. Good food at the quaint hotel and well tempered fit horses to hack out on.

Horse lovers paradise. Happy well schooled extremely fit horses, matched well to riders. Great instruction when needed but light touch so very enjoyable Hotel staff extremely welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Hotel is old fashioned but comfortable beds and powerful showers. Food simple but delicious. Highly recommended for those who want to experience Irish hospitality at its best.

As part of an already planned Ireland trip, I decided to add a three day stay at Bel Air to experience some cross country riding/jumping for the first time. These three days were so much more than I expected. First, the hotel is a charming old victorian house that is "well-loved" but with clean large rooms, good sized en-suite bathrooms,... More

My mother and I stayed at Bel Air for the first part of our long anticipated trip to Ireland. We had planned to just stay for two days, but after the first day we knew we wanted to stay longer. The old family house is charming and clean, the service from every staff member was excellent, and the grounds are... More

Bel Air was one of the highlights of our trip. The house was wonderful - old, atmospheric, and charming. The old stone stable was a horse-lover's dream. The people running the house and stable were friendly, helpful, and competent. One of us participated in a group trail ride. Lots of people from Dublin and nearby participated, riding either their own... More

We spent 4 days at Bel Air and thought it was the best horse riding experience ever! Me and my friend do jumping at home, but had very limited (next to none) experience in cross-country jumping. The horses were absolutely amazing and with Noni's excellent instructions we felt extremely confident to jump all the fences :) We simply fell in... More

It is not easy to turn an aging country estate into a comfortable hotel and still retain the old world feel of the original house and grounds, all while making the experience of staying there comfortable and leaving you wanting for nothing - yet that is exactly what they have accomplished here. The beautiful stone and stucco house, the rustic... More

First and foremost, I arrived here with my girlfriend from California in early May, and we both agreed that the entire staff are extremely friendly and VERY helpful! The property has a history spanning hundreds of years, which makes it quite a site to visit in itself. I would recommend this location to anyone who loves the Irish countryside and... More

I've just spent a wonderful weekend at Bel Air and cannot thank Noni, Will, Maggie, Claire and whole team enough for their superb riding instruction and fabulous hospitality. I came to challenge myself, cross country riding for the first time. With wonderfully schooled horses that truly look after you, and patient instruction, I did so much more than I ever... More
