We weren't very hungry, but coming back from a long walk on the cliff's of Moher and seeing the menu outside decided to just go in for a quick bite. Well, glad we did. Every single bite was as good as the next. The food was simple prepared with not a lot of different flavors and condiments but just letting...

If you are ever in Liscannor, this is the place to stay. The Staff are friendly, the rooms cosy and comfortable and the food in the restaurant is to die for. My wife had the Crab which she pronounced as excellent; I had the Steak which was one of the most succulent I have ever had. The breakfast too was...

Vaughans has a good location, a quick spin into Lehinch and a short drive to the Cliffs of Moher. The accommodation is clean and very much reminds you of staying in your friends house. It wouldn't take too much to turn the rooms into "really" nice rooms but the emphasis in Vaughans is firmly on the restaurant offering. Breakfast is...

This was a nice little inn. We were very tired after driving to and walking the cliffs, when we arrived we were shown up to the room, sitting on the step to the room was a small basket with ice, tea, coffee and cookies. The next morning we had a wonderful breakfast that was included in the price of the...

Michael and I stayed in liscannor recently and our host at the b&b recommended the anchor inn in liscannor. We booked a table and glad that we did as the restaurant was extremely busy. Not surprising as the meal we had was nothing short of superb. A splendid seafood platter which looked and tasted unbelievable! We thought the staff were...

On a road trip with wife and booked here on spec. So glad we chose it as it was excellent. Had a lovely room with en suite and a comfortable double bed. Dinner and breakfast were superb too. Recommend booking in advance as it gets very busy. Even the curmudgeon of a landlord did not put us off! A couple...

Stayed here for one night. Room very small and basic. Evening meal was enjoyable but breakfast was very disappointing - we could not eat as the food was covered in grease. A nice touch was the basket of cookies and water which they left outside the door.

Cute traditional irish bar setting. Food def good but not amazing. Had seafood chowder but would give that a skip didn't really rate it. Followed by halibut which was a little overdone. Service was a bit stressed but Maybe we caught it on a busy night.
