The hotel restaurant is located along the main street of Liscannor, a few steps from the Sea, an about 30 minutes’ drive from Ennis. The façade is testimony of a long history. Upon entering you are in a section of the restaurant that looks like a cosy pub and probably is in some evenings. The hotel also sells some food...

This place was recommended for the fish and chips and we certainly were not disappointed! The batter on the fish was just right and extra crunchy- the fish was delicious as were the fries. It was a busy place as a bus tour came in shortly after we arrived so we were glad we went for a bit of an...

This lovely little Pub and B&B was a delight. It is near the Cliff of Mohr. The room was a bit small but they made very good use of the space they had. The room was up to date with new fixtures in the bathroom and convenient outlets. The staff was very friendly and the B&B had the added benefit...

Location is really good, about a ten minute drive to the cliffs...the parking area and visitor center are on the same road as the B&B. It is About 20 minute drive to the ferry terminal. But the area itself is not party central; there i not much to do in walking distance. There are three or four other pubs very...

Haven't been to vaughans in ages but always try to come to eat here if in lahinch area. It happened to be another unforgettable culinary treat . And not only! From the minute I entered it was greeted warmly. The place was busy as usual ( Tuesday at 5pm) I was doubtful it was a great idea to eat in...

I never write reviews, but Just a ten minute drive from the Cliffs of Moher, this nautical-themed B&B was the gem of our Ireland tour. The rooms were small, but spotlessly clean and charmingly furnished, with new bathrooms. The staff were all so helpful and lovely, and the breakfast was delicious. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is...

Can't fault our food. Complimentary curry soup to start- gorgeous; bread came in 3 flavours- banana which was more like cake ( too sweet) , apricot very nice and lovely soda bread. For starter I had the ham terrine which was delicious, hubby had oysters- he loved them. I then had John Dory with lovely cabbage, crispy bacon , a...

Although we didn't stay at the hotel, we were recommended the oysters here by one of the fishermen we got chatting to down by the cliffs of Moher. The staff were friendly and the bar was quite quiet given the time of day. It's a shame this bar/restaurant was not situated nearer Galway as it would do very well for...

We were lucky to get a table at Vaughans at short notice one Friday recently. The meal experience is not a cheap event, but the quality of food and presentation is absolutely super. We enjoyed a starter, main course and drinks. The quality and presentation of the food is excellent. I had a scallops main course, and my partner had...

The Restaurant looked well. There was a good atmosphere in the bar and the Restaurant was quite large. There were quite a number of diners. I had not been there for ages. Having had a long walk I was really hungry and was really looking forward to a good fish meal. I opted for the Scampi. The scampi was served...
