We booked this last minute as we were attend A funeral locally. 3 bed house was booked. As we got delayed travelling down we called the main reception and informed them of this as reception closes at 6pm and they told us where our keys would be left. I had called after the booking was made and asked could the heat be turned on Prior to our arrival as we were travelling with a new born baby. When we arrived the house was warm, and they had left a travel cot for the baby free of charge. All in all fantastic houses that can be rented out for families. Can't wait to go back. .

We arrived at Banna beach resort in the evening. The woman at reception was lovely and friendly, the pool looked nice. Seemed very quiet. The houses look pretty awful from outside, drab, not painted, weather stained. Inside they are really lovely, very modern and spotless. Highchair, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, tv, DVD player, travel cot all there. No scrubbing brush, dishwasher tablets, soap, hand towels in the bathrooms. Everywhere else I've ever stayed has had the bare essentials, not this place. We paid just over €300 between 4 of us, not too bad at all. I wouldn't pay more though as it was around €25 in a taxi to get to Tralee. Nothing to do in Banna apart from the beach which is beautiful. The pub in the resort was dead when I went, it was like a ghost

A superb location consisting of 3 bedroom detached cottages that are well spaced out. The accommodation was excellent - Clean, spacious and a right home away from home. Leisure facilities were great, but the changing rooms could do with a deep cleanse. Bar was great and the warm welcome from the bar staff really made the difference to our weekend. The only down side was we flew over and got a taxi from the airport, so were very limited when it came to eating as it was out of peak season (so limited stock in the shop) and no where local you could walk to... but the pizza in the bar helped with that 😀 I highly recommend the Banna Beach Resort and hope to be back again.

We stayed here for the last week. I have to say it is the best holiday we have had in ireland. I presumed I would be listening to kids screaming outside all day but it wasn't so. It was so relaxing and peaceful I couldnt believe it. There was something for kids of all ages and the teenagers room was an added bonus, They didn't appear unless they were looking for money. There is a play area,a games room, astro turf pitch, basketball court and playground on site as well as free access to the swimming pool. There is also a shop and a chipper and the food from the chipper is lovely everything cooked fresh. The pub at night had entertainment for the kids first and then music for the adults. It is open till all hours of d morning which is brilliant at the time but I don't know is the

Recently spent a week there and was pleasantly surprised- it's geared towards the children and my 2 and 4 year old had a ball! Great location and plenty to do in all Irish weather conditions. Could do with a lick of paint in most areas but generally clean and comfortable. The beds were not great, sore back after first night and I had few maintenance issues with light bulbs and broken bench which were never resolved during our stay but these were small issues in the scheme of things! Also would benefit from serving food in bar( currently only available on saturday evenings) which is a pity But indoor and outdoor playgrounds are great as is the swimming pool and the children's entertainment was fantastic!

I went here with my friends to have a nice swim! The pool was good, there wasn't much people. We were doing laps then we decided to take a 2 min break but while we were standing there, a man told us to get out because we are supposed to do laps here. He clearly didn't know that we were doing laps. We decided to get out of the pool because it got too crowded and people were splashing everywhere. The ladies changing rooms were very dirty and we nearly slipped. After we got changed, we went to the gym. The gym was very good. There was a lot of equipment for you to use. Overall, the staff weren't good but it was a nice place.

Spent a week in Banna Beach Sand dune cottages recently. The resort is great for children and in fairness to the staff they put a lot of work into the entertainment so my kids had a ball. The pool is nice and clean and lifeguards are very attentive. The sand dune cottages are adequate but we thought ours could have done with a thorough deep cleaning, a lot of dust in room corners etc so it was obvious that only a quick clean is done between Lettings. Beds were fairy hard also. Apart from that it is a pleasant resort and a lovey part of the country

I very rarely write a review but I had to give my experience. Check in was quick and easy. Houses spacious well equiped and clean with good green area to rear where children can play safely & freely. Brought black bin liners to blacken out windows as advised by previous reviewer & worked a treat kids slept great! My kids are 8 myths,3 & 5 made friends with girls same age across green & spent much time together. I feared play areas & pool would alway be jammers but surprisingly never were & pool sometimes felt cold but never uncomfortable once u were in. Kids loved the nightly entertainment & could play in playground if didn't suit them while mam & add enjoyed a drink or two.Never ate in chopper but hubby got chips one eve & perfectly edible. Went to Dingle aquarium one wet day

Just back from a week at Banna Beach Resort with my mother and 2 children aged 10 and 8. It was our first time coming here and we loved every minute of it. We stayed in one of the Sandune bungalows and they were spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you would need. From the large playground, to pirate Petes indoor playzone, the games room, swimming pool and the sports courts there was never time to be bored. Special shoutout to Enda in the kids camp for keeping my 2 entertained all week, they had a ball! Can't wait to come back here again! 😊

We stayed here 2 wks ago me, my bf, mum & some friends! It is such a lovely spot, quiet, relaxing & everything at your hand. The leisure centre, playground, shop on site & pub of course :) the cottages are clean, comfy & modern. The beach is a 10 min walk down the road & is lovely for long walks, the only thing i can complain about banna is there is no restaurant on site. Will be back next summer cant wait, loved it :)
