We stayed here 22-29 August and we had a great time; the place is ideal for kids and a great location to tour Kerry. The highlight is how close the houses are to to fabulous Banna Beach. The staff were very friendly and there were great kids amenities; we had the pool every day and Pirate Pete's is a blessing, especially if bad weather. Great nightly kids entertainment very well organised and the availability of the arcade and playground is super. Houses very clean and perfect for a family staycation. I couldn't fault it and would highly recommend and will definitely be back next year!
We visited recently and unfortunately found there was a lot of improvements needed with accommodation. Our house was very dirty and I had to clean again when we arrived. Dishwasher dirty and dirty crockery in the presses. Grubby sticky windows, bins dirty :( the place really needs an update across the board, I can see why people return year after year as it’s in such a beautiful location and has amazing potential - but it wasn’t for us. I know times are testing right now. There really didn’t seem to be any set rules in place while we were there in regards to masks or shields with staff in the bar, rules for one none for another.... The leisure centre was very well organised with spaces slots for swimming. Thankfully just a 10/15 min walk to beautiful banna beach which…
the shallows were shabby looking. Shower not working. toilet was leaking had a horrible air con system in the house it didnt work and didn't give sufficient air throughout the house. Smelly mildue on sofas and they were old. The beds weren't clean mattresses were unhygienic and fowl smell off them. we had to shower at the swimming pool. Which wasnt good enough. We will not be going on holiday here Again
Banna beach resort was a pleasant surprise in terms of facilities. We stayed in a 3 bed house which was clean, warm, spacious and well maintained. The WiFi available in the house was strong enough for browsing and watching videos. TV and DVD player available too. The facilities available were brilliant. A decent sized swimming pool with separate kids pool. A nice sized indoor soft play and a large outdoor playground. Evening entertainment was also thoroughly enjoyed by the kids. In terms of Covid19, The resort and the staff did everything they possibly could to make all the areas safe for everyone. Pool slots were booked in hourly sessions to control numbers and swimmers advised to come “pool ready” to avoid use of changing rooms. Soft play numbers were controlled and people…
I visit Banna Beach Resort every summer 🏊🏻♀️ The pool is lovely and big so if there’s young children you won’t be crammed by them 😁 Lovely children’s pool with a fountain shaped sprayer⛲️ There’s a small pool then for really young children and then there’s the main section and then a jacuzzi 👍🏻 Great big playground outside and a fabulous little shop that has loads of summer sweets and has lots of beach equipment aswell such as floatable sand buckets and spades and a little restaurant that does excellent food 🥘 Highly recommend everyone to visit sometime
plenty of amenities and good location to beach and lots on site. bit run down but clean and value for money . needs invesment really . very nice place. banna beach is excellent it self . the resort suitable for families. acomocation is clean and close to everything
I wouldn't recommend banna beach resort. The holiday homes are Cold and their is no proper heating system in place. The condensation on the windows and doors is awful.freezing cold rooms for me & my family. The leisure centre the steam room was a disgrace tiles missing & dirt on the ground as the steam room wasnt washed or cleaned properly. The jacuzzi wasnt working no proper bubbles and it was very cold. The changing rooms are dirty and not cleaned properly. Old shampoo bottles left lying around. Their was a shop and chip shop near the holiday home but it was closed. No entertainment at the hotel. It was drab & bleak. I wouldn't be going here on holidays again.
An absolute plesaure to stay in Banna Beach Resort, even in the "off-peak season" The houses are spacious with big bedrooms for the children to play in Open grassy area out the back and with the beach only a few minutes walk away, a great time was had by all. Very friendly staff
This place is excellent for kids and adults we stayed here last weekend. The houses are spacious 3 bedrooms with a back garden for privacy and picnic bench. They are clean and have a dvd player (you can rent dvds for next to nothing from the shop they have on site) Theres a play park, play area, leisure suite with swimming pool, a cinema and an arcade. There's a chippy and a shop on site and the beautiful Banba beach is within walking distance. They have excellent live music in the bar and serve pizzas. Joe was a gentleman and when we arrived late for our BBQ he ensured we were all fed by asking the chef to come back out. The owner Jimmy was very hospitable and friendly. A gentleman man who came out to us a few times for a chat and asked us was all good. The lady in…
We visited Banna Beach Resort this September with our 10 month old. Lovely resort has onsite diner (chipper), small grocery store and pub which all were closed when we went as they close for peak season - so we had to go into either Ardfert or Tralee to get dinner. Also onsite is an outside play area, inside play area (we used neither) and a pool but unfortunately the kiddies pool was freezing so we couldn’t stay in it long with our baby. House was lovely and clean when we went in and had parking right outside the door. There were a few things about the house we stayed in that bugged us eg no straps in the high chair, dried in vomit all over the travel cot (parents with smallies I’d recommend you bring your own), broken shower heads and broken toaster. Only a 10/15 minute walk…
