This was by far the best hotel we visited on our Namibian trip. The staff were very helpful and courteous in particular our contact Alice . The main area was superbly decorated in keeping with the environment ,as was the bedroom. A unique feature was the extra bedroom on the roof plus your own outdoor seating area and plunge pool....

We stayed at Little Kulala as part of an itinerary with Wilderness Safaris, flying Wilderness Air. What we did not realise at the time we booked was that our flight from Windhoek would not arrive until late afternoon [just in time for sundowners] and that we would leave very early on our final morning. So essentially we had 2 nights...

Dear JennyD61 Thank you for your fabulous review, we wish you had been able to stay longer so you might have enjoyed everything on offer including the opportunity to enjoy some relaxation in camp. Even though the main attraction to Sossusvlei is the magnificent Sand Sea, there is a small variety of animals that can be seen. Desert-adapted wildlife such...

The place was supposed the climax of our trip in Namibia... And it as been even more than that. That's one of the first time I saw my kids breathless and voiceless, so surprised and amazed by the beauty of the place, the wilderness of the surroundings and the kindness of the people. And so were we. The 3 days...

Dear Pdeclet, Thank you for the amazing review, we are thrilled to see how much you and your whole family enjoyed your stay with us. While ‘Sossusvlei’ refers specifically to the terminal pan or vlei at the western extremity of the Tsauchab River, the entire Sossusvlei environment is one of immense diversity, aridity gradients and supersize natural phenomena. The Tsauchab...

What a wonderful place! the architecture of the hotel is so beautiful yet sober and natural. Eveything blends in with the surroundings. The result is total harmony. The service is excellent and totally all-inclusive in a very elegant way. The drives and guides are excellent. We have been to many safaris and lodges. This is the best of the best!

Dear caroleDT, Thank you for your wonderful review, we are thrilled to see how much you enjoyed your stay as well as appreciated the design and layout of the camp. Little Kulala was built using only Namibian products and the workforce, from the labourers to the architect, are all local citizens. The thatch, for example, comes from Rundu in the...

Well in actuality we didn't hike to the top of the dunes but we hear it was great. This part of the world is glorious and everything at this camp was perfect. We loved our guide Forster, the food was great, Denzel and Alicia were very lovely and helpful. Sleeping on the roof of our lovely adobe house was terrific...

Our accommodations consist of individual air-conditioned thatched "kulalas" (the word means 'to sleep') which seem to merge into the desert landscape. Each kulala has private plunge pool, indoor and outdoor showers, and a rooftop bed for star-gazing. The open air lobby includes a library, wine cellar, boutique, lounge and dining areas. Little Kulala’s interiors use neutral colors, textures and natural light....

This is a wonderful place. We stayed for three marvellous nights. The huts are spacious with small plunge pool, and showers inside and outside. Little Kulala is about the beauty of stark desert landscapes and isolation rather than seeing abundant wildlife. The small size of the camp means you have a lot of personal space, with the opportunity to absorb the beauty of the area in privacy.
