We stayed here for 2 days and wish it had been longer. All the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Boniface our ranger/guide was exceptional. Star gazing is also a must. When we left they noticed we had a puncture and changed...More

Good options to have fun: game drive, pool, quadbike, stargaze.....
It's expensive, but it's worth it!
A bit heavy on the budget but worth it. Stay and relax. Open space. Fresh air. Rooms with a view. Clean. Friendly Staff. Was worth it. Breakfast in the open was the best. Explore the park and enjoy the scenery.
We drove from Windhoek, our first self drive on gravel roads( was fine!) and arrived to find this wonderful lodge in such a spectacular setting. We loved the remote setting and as others have said, found Boni to be an excellent guide from teaching us...More

Pardon my delay in responding. I was in Tanzania and just now saw your question. Namibia is more about landscape, geology and the night sky than large concentrations of wildlife (although you will find some extraordinary animals at Etosha Park.) The Namib Desert can't support the number of animals that you will see in the Okavango Delta, Maasai Mara, or Serengeti. Nevertheless, at Sousesvlei, we saw a lot of Oryx, marvelously adapted to the desert environment. Huge flocks of flamingos, seals along the famous coast.
