Excellent B&B.This is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. Pure luxury rooms are very tastefully decorated beds extremely comfortable. The full Irish Breakfast was delicious and the dining room is so luxurious. I would highly recommend this B&B had a wonderful two days stay there. Breege is a wonderful hostess and makes you feel very welcome.

This is a charming b&b within walking distance of Ballinrobe, although the town itself doesn’t have much going for it. Breakfast is served in a lovely room, and the choice is varied. There are several excellent local places of interest, but take an umbrella, as it rains a lot. Don’t miss Kylemore Abbey, Ashford Castle near Cong, Knocke & Ballintubber Abbey.

Beautiful place to stay and for us it was a great location near both Ballinrobe and Castlebar. Owners were wonderful and provided great breakfasts that you got to choose. Ample parking for cars. Beautiful yard to sit out in and walk around. Highly recommend!

Breege is a very warm and welcoming host. Beautiful b&b, the rooms are beautifully decorated with lovely soft furnishings- impressive grounds and very well kept. Had a fantastic sleep, the comfiest mattress and a wonderful breakfast with good variety.

Fantastic B&B in Ballinrobe, great value for money. We had an en suite and a twin without an en suite, and the rooms were presented to a high quality and were spotless. The rooms were very thoughtfully planned and presented, tea and coffee facilities presented together with some free bottled water.
Rooms were a good size, the beds and linen all of high quality. Breakfast the following morning was great quality and served with a smile too. Hot and cold breakfast was provided with high quality produce.

The B&B itself is a great house itself, very well presented with easy parking. Host was great too.

Definitely would come back.

We stayed at Friars Quarter House for four nights and have nothing bad to say about it. The house and grounds are magnificent and Breege is a wonderful hostess, so friendly and welcoming. Our room and en suite were spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. There was no noise at all as the house is situated on a quiet road at the edge of the town. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious and it was excellent value for money. If you are in the area I would highly recommend a stay.

I stayed for one night as a solo traveller and loved it. Medium sized room and very good value for money. I liked the quality of the linen and overall it had a touch of quality, down the fresh coffee on arrival and the phone call to know what time I would arrive. The gardens are lovely and it gives the house a well laid out setting The bed was very comfy and the ensuite was fine.

The only things I was not impressed with were there was a bathroom next door to my room and even though no noise was coming from other rooms, the bathroom wall must have been paper thin as all "bathroom user sounds" very clearly audible. Secondly, the breakfast room was uncomfortably silent, even though they were several people using it, nobody was speaking - if some pleasant background music was playing or a radio on volume , it would have been great. The food was lovely and plenty of it.

What a great place to stay.
Huge breakfast, comfortable beds and a stunning house.
We were made to feel very welcome at all times.
All that and the lady of the house ironed my creased shirt.
This is the best place I have stayed in during my many trips to Ireland.
