This hyped up B&B,. at first glance, looks good. However our room in the Lodge was appalling. The windows were dirty. The bathroom was far too small and the tiling was unfinished. The folding door to the bathroom was home made with wonky hinges. There were no glasses, shelf or handsoap or showergel of any kind. The shower itself was...

I was surprised to read this review that you decided to post this review in Jan. 2016, along with photos that you took 6 months ago from when you stayed in Keel Lodge. It leaves the owner in a strange predicament as no complaints were made before now and maybe if there was, we could have done something to try...

We chose the Keel Lodge for our honeymoon and were totally satisfied. Raychel, the owner and host, was exeptionally friendly. She also knows the surroundings and is a fantastic cook. She never declared it to be a five star hotel, it feels like visiting a friend at home with all the coziness and affection that comes with it. Highly recommended!

Just back from 5 fantastic days in Keel Lodge! Raychel is a charming host, the rooms are spotless & the surroundings are great. We were very fortunate that Raychel could cook the first 2 nights we were there & we had 2 of the best 3-course meals we have ever had-and Al Fresco! Oscar, the cocker spaniel, is very much...

Booked this holiday with my mum on booking.com and it looked lovely but unfortunately the weekend we were there Raychel was away and left the place in the hands of nieghbours or friends I don't know which. Well anyway we arrived and had to sleep on rock solid beds which did not help my mums back injury and also in...

We spent a week with Raychel at Keele Lodge Bed and Breakfast. Raychel did everything she could to make us feel welcome and comfortable. She gave us lots of suggestions about where to visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked the four poster room which was excellent - comfortable bed, peaceful views, ensuite bathroom (with plenty of hot...

The house is located in a beautiful setting, quiet and lovely. The rooms are kept very clean and decorated well. The beds are comfortable. All bedrooms have an on suite. The breakfast is a traditional Irish breakfast with unlimited amounts of tea and toast, with the eggs coming from the free range chickens kept outside. This is an ideal place...

This B&B was very poor, as soon as we walked in all you could smell was dog! We had cold showers both days, shower was not working properly While sitting having breakfast in the morning at the dining room table, water started dripping from the ceiling onto the table and when we asked why this was, we were told it...

There is an expression that we use in Ireland and that is - when it rains it pours, and unfortunately apologies your stay was not up to scratch. Whilst you felt this, other guests stayed during the exact same timeframe that gave 10 out of 10 in their review for Keel Lodge. The shower was working perfectly when I tested...

Just back from a very enjoyable stay at Keel Lodge ballinrobe. The hospitality was 5 star, the owner was very polite, very helpful and showed us a true warm hospitality. It was a great and peaceful stay. Our sleep was fantastic, the breakfast outstanding (You should definitely try the porridge) and our hostess pointed us to the best road trip we had during our entire stay. We booked the cheapest room and we would stay here again anytime! The location coordinates on booking.com and Google are wrong. Use the following...
