Having Spent Christmas Day Brunch, Christmas Dinner and the Night at Schloss Eberstein, I can only praise it in the highest terms. It was not our first visit here, but this time was truly special. The Brunch was served Buffet style, extremely varied and all of it tasty. Dinner in their one-starred Michelin Gourmet Restaurant was outstanding, novel in the...

Based upon the reviews I was expecting great things. From the arrival things were a bit off. No offer to help with bags, no explanation of the room. The rooms are not air conditioned which makes them unliveable. Combined with the poor staff attitude this made for a most unpleasant experience. The better restaurant was closed so we went to...

We stayed in the Schloss Eberstein for two nights, dining in the castle on both nights. The more "casual" dining restaurant is beautifully situated looking down over the valley and the vineyard. As the weather was warm we dined outside under the tree canopy, it was incredibly picturesque. We enjoyed the set menu. The castle is ideally situated at the...

First off; this is not a castle. Its a stately old home that offers spectacular views and superb food. The adjacent "castle" is rented out for special occasions and is not readily available to hotel guests. Instead, spend your time amongst the arboretum, hillside vineyards and hiking trails. They offer a Michelin star restaurant on site.

Dear Guest, thanks fro another great review! The entire Hotel is part of the Eberstein castle, although some of it is owned privately, and hence closed off for public viewings. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed dining at our gourmet restaurant, and exploring the wonderful countryside. The vineyards do make this a wonderful area for hiking, as well...

It's really cool to stay in a castle. The rooms are really nice and it was some of the best sleep we had all vacation. The shower has side jets and a stream function. We were disappointed we didn't get to see the entire castle. We wanted to be able to explore and see the history. Sadly it seemed as...

Stayed here in January with a friend for 2 nights. Hotel is great and is most know for the award winning restaurant which is only open Friday and Saturday. Our second stay here, for four days, two couples. By the time we booked only "ordinary" rooms were available for the new year's special offer. Our room 23 was quaint but smallish, court view (beautiful Christmas decoration outside!) and end of corridor, so as quiet as we had requested. The "himmelbett", two night stands and arm chairs with a small...

Stayed here just for 1 night and it was beautiful, exactly what we wanted from a castle stay. The castle was in between two small towns so there isn't much to do around apart from walking.
