I travel often through the Caribbean. I spent a few days at this fabulous resort. Their entire teams is great and tennis staff was exceptional. Davis Cup stars -- ATP ranked #8 Mark Philippoussis was on property playing. It's great to see world class tennis...More
I can’t say enough about the Curtain Bluff, All Inclusive Resort for my family vacation last week! We went with my three-year-old granddaughter, my own children, and my 89-year-old parents! Everything is just “easy” there at Curtain Bluff. The kids camp, two beaches, sailing, snorkeling,...More
My husband's grandparents found CB in the early 1960s and came back every year. We followed for the first time in 1996 and then didn't get back until this year. It's better than we even remembered. Mostly it's the people who make CB so special--their...More
All-inclusive means everything on the water! Multiple daily snorkeling trips out to a reef, sailing (with or without a guide), stand up paddleboards, kayaks, waterskiing and scuba - all included. Plus the food, morning, noon and night was always very good.
Going back for our 4th year in a row. From the staff to the grounds this place is the best! It feels like home from the minute the plane touches down. Plenty of water sports and food and drink, awesome! Everybody knows and treats you like...More
Flanked by water on both sides, Curtain Bluff sits on a rocky promontory (bluff) that juts into the sea between two beautiful beaches. One is calm, ideal for swimming and watersports; the other beach is washed by …Moreocean surf. 72 Rooms and suites, all with staggering seascape views, are spread out along the Surf Beach and up the bluff. There are two restaurants: the open-walled Tamarind Tree serving breakfasts and candle-lit dinners, and the Beach Cafe & Bar, where barefoot-casual lunches are enjoyed one step from the sand and a few feet from the water's edge. The resort's exceptional facilities include a championship tennis center, a fully equipped watersports center (scuba, Windsurfing, paddle-boarding, waterskiing, Hobie Cats and kayaks), a squash court and fitness center. When it's time to relax, there's our tranquil spa overlooking the sea, a beachside swimming pool, a beach bar, and hammocks swaying in the shade of coconut palms. With the exception of a few above-and-beyond luxuries (Cuban cigars, vintage wines, spa treatments), everything is included in the room rate, making it one of the best values in the Caribbean. To be honest I don't know. I would always err on the side of caution. You may get away with it but to be honest most people dress up for dinner and anyway, it is so warm in the evenings that I would feel jeans would be too heavy. A light pair of chinos would probably be more comfortable anyway. Yes, there are two restaurants. Both are really good. One smaller one down on the beach (you must book) and the other is in the main building with seating under cover or outside. The service is outstanding and most of the staff have been at Curtain Bluff for a very long time. I hope this helps.

I was on a cane when we visited and had no problem getting around and into room. It appeared all rooms were wheelchair accessible and if I remember there was a ramp that would get you to bar and restaurant. All rooms have shower and tub but if I remember correctly both had steps or ledges and were not wheelchair accessible. Perhaps they have other rooms that would be.
