We have known this place for along time even if we didn’t come back since 2018. The location is always very nice , the rooms are very large and cozy . We chose a deluxe but we had an upgrade. The Personnel is very welcoming and professional , also the swimming pool area is very relaxing. The breakfast is always rich of very good products : salty and sweet . The location of the breakfast buffet is not so close at the tables as in the past. We have been happy to come back and it is always a wonderful place
We stayed in the hotel for 2 days and we felt that the hotel was very customer friendly and understanding of our problems. The spa, facilities and maintenance were very good. The thermal pool was wonderful but I feel they should open the pool for more hours. It was a wonderful stay overall!
Been to Saturnia several times and the parco termale has been very good but never like today which it has been excellent. Food is simply amazing and service is outstanding throughout. Especially I would like to thank Antonio the manager for his excellent customer service and for his help expecially for the good time we spent together. He was able to communicate in English and help me more than once. His food and drink recommendations were perfect! He was extremely polite, smiling all the time and very helpful in the parco termale never had this kind of people and at some point they were busy and he was able to jump in dufferent sector with no stress and I asked him how he could do this? parco termal is very lucky to have this guy as manager I really think he is a good asset of the place. unluckily for me since I work in hospitality around Europe otherwise I would take him. The place is surrounded by beautiful, hilly, countryside and it offers a full, high quality golf course among its facilities I would say a perfect place to spend a long week end for relaxation especially in the thermal bath. Thanks again Antonio for your help and see you soon probably in September.…
I never wanted to leave. This is a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff, amazing rooms and facilities and excellent food. It's a 2 mi ute drive to the thermal pools which are definitely worth visiting and their own thermal pool is wonderful. Go to this hotel. You won't regret it.
Extremely poor and rude service at the restaurant. You have to wait at least half an hour to order and another hour for them to bring the food if you lucky cause they just forget. It’s not a five star hotel not even near it. Understaffed and stressed . Waiters without the experience not knowing what they doing. I’m not mentioning the sky high price of food. 15 euros for a portion of ice cream , common at least give me a service . Terrible. Absolutely terrible.. will never recommend to anyone..
The hotel is situated in a beautiful and tranquil setting. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bar, bistro, and restaurant were all very good and so was the service. There were many thermal pools for the guests to access and the property is huge. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.
Breakfast was excellent and included in the room rate. Spa facilities and pool was excellent. Restaurants were difficult to access and as a party of seven we were unable to make reservations in either restaurant. However there are many local restaurants that offered excellent alternative options. Parking in front of the hotel was chaotic and seemed to privilege regulars who left their cars in the very small area. Parking for others was about 500 yards from the hotel and because of the inclement weather was a pain to access. Overall it was an enjoyable experience however much more on the pricey end of options that could’ve been reviewed. The hotel seem to be frequented by “regulars” which made it difficult for non-regulars or casual visitors to access some of the hotel and spa facilities.…
We had a nice suite, unluckily not facing the pool but some (not so nice) facilities roofs. But the location is in any case a gift of the nature: the pool is quite unique and exceptional. Undoubtedly one of the top thermal hot spring in Italy, if not in the world. The hotel structure, as well the surrounding park is also quite outstanding. And the staff is very friendly. Nevertheless there are some details and services that shall be improved to make the experience fully worth of the cost. Just some details in random order: 1- In the rooms you'll find several water bottle, but in plastic (and not in glass). Also, the plastic is so thin, that opening the bottles a lot of water will spill out... 2- We wend to the Finnish sauna, were there is a nice space reserved to the hotel guest. The fire place was unlikely not in function (what a pity), but the thing is that when we asked for tow towels we where told they had not enough of them. Are we kidding? In a 5 star hotel? Not wrought towels?!?!?! 3- Breakfast: the food was good, but quite average and the organization was a real mess. We asked for a table and we have been assigned to one. But when we came back from the buffet, it was taken but somebody else! We just had to move to a different. Also, at the buffet there was super long line (not so wise in covid times). 4- We had the privilege to swim in the hot water pool in the night, under a starry night.. Starry...? Not really: the night lighting design of the pool is too bright and so "undesigned". It is interfering too much with the magical atmosphere. It's a pity. These are a few things that shall be improved and considered by the managment in order to make the experience more enjoyable.…
I've stayed here before and absolutely loved the property. As a consultant, I have been referring clients here for years when they need to relax and focus on their wellbeing. But something has definitely changed, and not for the better. The pool and dining facilities seem like a completely different operation from the hotel itself. The front desk staff was friendly and generally provided great service. However, the food and beverage service and pool management were beyond unsatisfactory. But for a place I go to relax and unwind, I found it incredibly difficult to do so: - Waited for an hour to be seated for my dinner reservation while several tables remained open. After checking back with the restaurant staff a few times, I finally got the front desk staff involved as they had made the reservation on my behalf. I was seated immediately – at one of the previously mentioned open tables. - Another couple who had been waiting longer for their reservation was not so lucky. I watched them wait another 40 minutes to be seated, and an additional 30 minutes before they even got a menu one of the many waiters serving their section. - After a host showed me to my breakfast table, a couple returning from the buffet with their meal plates in hand awkwardly said they had previously been shown to the same table. This happened again the next day. It was unclear why staff didn’t keep track of which tables were occupied. - The same thing happened at the pool. Twice. Another party settled into the chairs marked with my room number. Again, a bit awkward for all of us. Apparently, no one had helped them find a seat assignment of their own. - Used room service trays were left in the hallways for nearly 24 hours. - A lot to say about the poor service and lack of professionalism by male staff. But an example that sticks out is the sommelier’s decision to offer my male companion the first taste of wine. Every time. Even though I was asking the questions for us and choosing the bottle – and paying the bill. I live in the US and travel quite a bit for business and pleasure. I'm also an Italian citizen and no stranger to the Italian culture. But this level of disregard in a luxury hotel was something new for me. I was curious if these were unusual occurrences or the new status quo at the property. I didn't want to keep referring clients here if this is the experience they can expect. I had a friendly chat with the manager on duty, a woman, who seemed quite understanding, even a bit horrified, to hear of my experience, especially with the sommelier. She remarked that I must have felt that I was treated “like someone’s secretary” instead of a valued guest. I appreciated that. She was right. I did. I commend this manager for her professionalism and her attempt to make the situation right by discussing a resolution with the food and beverage head as well as other (male) members of her team. But she returned visibly embarrassed. After talking with her team, she was unable to provide a resolution beyond a 10% discount. On one meal. She was sincerely empathetic and personally apologetic that she couldn’t do more to help encourage a return visit or continued client referrals. It’s the first time I’ve seen the manager of a luxury hotel be unempowered to resolve a service issue with a guest. I couldn’t help but wonder if, as a woman, she too was being disregarded by the staff.…
This hotel looks much better in picture. Tidyness and maintenance were no where near perfect. Service at the reseption and wallet service was good and helpful. There was no self-service breakfast. Breakfast was slow and poor service breakfast with raw bacon. So finally did not get any breakfast before leaving to airport early in the morning. Also be prepared that it is really hard to get your way to this hotel. Road signs are confusing and navi does not help. We ended up driving around in the hotel back yard where is no way to the main entrance.
