This place is amazing! We had pretty big triple room in the Villa, big and clean with bathroom. Breakfast was very sweet and good coffe. Amazing swimming pool with stunning view over Tuscan hills, and the second one warm (about 38 degrees) which was amazing and really relaxing. Beautiful garden with sculptures of Ronaldo Stefanacci who still lives and work there. Recommend!

If you have time to stay here I would thoroughly recommend it. It's quirky mind, you so you need to arrive with an open mind. The first thing you should know is this place belongs to a very famous sculptor, Rolando Stefanacci who still lives and works there. We met him and his wonderfully eccentric and you'd hope he should be. The central garden and pool areas are laid out with his art on pedestals', I have to confess my wife and I were surprised when we arrived, at first I thought it was a reclamation yard my wife thinking it was a graveyard... :) but once you actually look you can see the pieces of art and most of it is good. There are three different building that can get rooms in, the villa which is amazing and two quite modern villas in the grounds, both look lovely and we chatted to a couple by the heated pool that were in one and they loved it. To the pools, wow... now I've been around, stayed in some stunning hotels and rented villas do die for but this is the first time I swam in a swimming pool that's the same temperature as I would have a bath, they say its 38* but I would say it's warmer. It's such a lovely feeling to swim in that heat and amazingly when you get out you feel cool. It's something you should do. The second pool is also beautiful but traditional in a pool sort of way, beautifully clean and refreshing. We stayed in the Old Villa and its a privilege to stay there. I'm guessing that its like it was for hundreds of years all apart from the electricity. The rooms are cool, simply but elegantly furnished and beautifully clean. Apparently Rolando has made pieces for each of the rooms, it was our bathroom that had his touch and it was great... again quirky but fun and a very nice touch. I think this is the sort of place that you should come to for a while, relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and wonderful food. The cook there is amazing, good old fashioned fab food. There's no need to go out to eat, just stay there We loved it here and we'll defiantly return

Me and my wife stayed first time in Tuscany and we loved the place very much. Monteverdi is a nice hill-town 40min from the sea with very nice views. Villa Le Querciolaie is owned by Rolando Stefanecci, there is a sculpture park, 16th century main house and 3 villas at the forest which you can rent. We lived in one of three villas, which are equipped with kitchen, veranda, grill places, each villa has its own Tuscany and artist style with a lot of art by RS inside. There are 2 pools in the park (1 cold pool about 21°C for swim and 1 hot pool 37°C for relax with massage, roofed by a roman style dome). The only thing is you should be cautious of insect bites. Above all many heartly thanks to Maria and Lea which run the Villa. Charming chef Maria (native Georgian) cooks delicious dishes of organic and local ingredients. We enjoyed our time very much and will be glad to come again! Thank you very much!

We were a group of 9 adults and rented one of the houses, Casa della Fontana for a week which was just perfect for our group. The place is incredible with art everywhere. And the best part was the artist himself: famous Rolando who always had a friendly word when you happened to pass by. It is very peaceful and beautiful. Wi-fi is limited to certain areas only but after a second thought it was only good because you didn't spend needless time in the internet. We had thought of doing some cooking ourselves but the kitchen of the house was not too well equipped. The breakfast that was served in the premice was sweeter than we are accustomed to, but dinner was superb! Charming chef Maria cooks delicious dishes of organic and local ingredients, but a word of warning: be sure to be hungry when you enter. A thoroughly enjoyable stay; we heartily recommend!

If you like to wake up to birds singing in trees around and swim in two pools with a beautiful view over the Tuscany mountains, this is your place. Separate houses are clean, practical and cosy. The owner is a well-known artist whose sculptures and reliefs give an interesting, even spiritual feeling all over the place. Home-made italian breakfast, mainly delicious sweets, is served if desired. We tried, also the dinner, which was sumptuous and excellent for 20 euros.
