We stayed in this Penzion 5 nights and enjoyed fully and truly! Our small daughter loved the food and outdoor playground, we liked the staff, atmosphere and spacious rooms :) Totally recomanded, hope we come back again one day!
Sorry for the late review. We stayed there in July 2015. Accommodation was great, staff were friendly, food was delicious (both breakfast and dinner). Pension is located not far from the frequented areas of High Tatras. Every must see (Strbske pleso, Stary Smokovec, Tatranska Lomnica) is within few kilometres. The wiew in clear weather conditions is absolutely breathtaking.
We had a large apartment of two storey. On the first floor there was a bathroom with shower, a small living room with a couch and a bed under the stairs, and a big room with a double bed. From the balcony an excellent view opened to the whole mountains. On the second floor there were two beds and a lot of place. We were 5 and we had enough place. A small garden was available to play for small children and to eat outdoor. About 5 parking places were provided inside the garden. By car it is very easy to reach any starting point for a tour in the mountains. During our staying we could use the apartment and the garden without any disturbance from the part of the hosts and other guests. It was very hard to discuss in English or German with our hosts when we arrived. They wanted us to pay the total amount for the 5 days of our staying just before to see our apartment. We paid at the end, but it was an unpleasant situation without a common language. A very small kitchen or at least some equipments was needed.…
Stayed for one night. Had a very spacious room, which faced the back and we could hear the small river. The room was basic, clean & comfortable with good free Wi-Fi everywhere. Great location in the middle of the Tatras in which to use as a base to explore.
One side of the hotel offers a great view on High Tatras. Considerable low prices, although rooms are not cleaned during the stay. They also have a small SPA with jacuzzi and sauna, which costs 10€ per hour (regardless of the amount of people). Can't comment on food, as we haven't eaten there.
