Resort is led by young and not very well skilled staff, our apartment had no shower gel, soap diluted with water,it wasn't even foamy, blocked sink and there is absolutely nothing in the kitchen meaning, no coffee or teabags. This should not be a case of 4 stars.Skittles and dust on the floor under the couch probably means it wasn't properly vacuumed for some time. Restaurant is similar story, food is tastless made of frozen stuff, breakfast had no standard of 4 stars in any dream, nothing was marked for international guests. Not vegan or vegatarian friendly either, very small choice, if you are asking.

The resort seemed to be a relaxing and high quality place with quality services, but it is definitely not true. To be honest, i do not usually write negative feedback but now i  stretch a point because of the resort’s staff unprofessionalism and unacceptable behaviour. Simply, it was the worst resort, hotel and hospitality experience i have ever had. The smallest problem was that the majority of the staff do not speak any languages, only Slovakian (despite they offer  “multilingual staff”.  The room was quite OK, but the cleaning was poor and the „view” means in some rooms you have 2 option: retract the curtains and staying in dark during the day or wave to the workers on the construction in front of your window. In the restaurant, the staff simply denied they had a menu / food and they let us wait for long while they knew, the client (us) will not be served. The wellness means a jacuzzi and a sauna which are practically unusable – because you have to book it 1 day before (no capacity) – furthermore it is much more expensive than the AquaWorld in the near city, Poprad. We also met a beggar one morning. Yes, In the resort area , so i dont know how is this area is safe. Handling compliments and clients means that the receptionist say “o”, and they are simply refuse to send any reply or feedback to your letter of compliments. The value for money is inadequate, strictly speaking, the resort (pictures on the websites and the services listed there) mislead clients. Definitely not recommended and never again!

We spent 4 nights w children, 1 bedroom+1 sofabed served us well. Room was cozy, warm, clean and comfy. We liked the breakfast, many options to choose from continental breakfast tables. Staff in the restaurant was quite rude, but at the reception they were helpful and friendly. All in all, we were satisfied ♡

We were impressed by the lady who checked us in. Her name is Monica. She was helpful, friendly and went out of her way to welcome us. It was a Thursday when we checked in. The apartment was basic. There is a lack of utensils for example a spatula for frying. The view from our apartment was lovely. We tried to have dinner at the restaurant but there was only buffet. The staff in the restaurant did not speak English. At 6.30 pm, there was no food laid out for buffet so it was hard to know what the restaurant staff meant by buffet. We decided to head to the supermarket to buy food to cook. Breakfast at the same restaurant was a disaster. The 'hot' food trolly had scrambled eggs and sausages that were cold. The cutlery was dirty and the side plates had not been replenished leaving only one clean and one dirty plate. There was no hit water for tea. To top it all, the restaurant staff who although did not speak English, failed to understand that it was unacceptable to eat cold food and when shown the dirty plate was quite oblivious to doing something about it. We spoke to the hotel reception, making a formal complaint with photos. We were pleased that the receptionist was understanding and willingly refunded the price of our breakfast. It is not the most cheerful of places to stay in because of the dull interior and lack of kitchen utensils.

NOT RECOMMENDING TATRAGOLF MOUNTAIN RESORT! Althoug their web is promising a great service, it was a complete opposite. 'VIP welness center'? nothing more than finnish sauna with 2 beds for resting, and an jacuzzi outside. Elevator stops in between of floors. No barrier free entrance. Hallways dirty. Breakfast and dinner options very limited. PErsonnel handles dirty dishes right in front of you, so when you eat your diner, right next to you is a trolley where a waiter puts all uneaten food and drinks to buckets and throws used cutlery in a box. A lot of noise, and disgust... And I forgot the booking part. Receptionist was unwilling to discuss our booking over the phone. So we exchanged like 7 emails until final offer(what room I want, how many persons, when we want to have wellness, etc...) She could have asked all the questions via phone, and then sum up via 1email. If you're willing to pay 115E per night, go to Black Stork. It is the best hotel in this location.
