Staff really friendly. I couldn't find it inside the Medina and, after I've phoned, he went after me. Got a room bigger than my own apartment. Found so Moroccan and typical. I've requested a dinner and, boy, felt myself eating so delicious food and so much, like a Vizir. The breakfast was very good too. So recommended.

Stayed here fore 2 nights, family of 3 including 16 year old son, on an 11 night tour of Morocco. I think the lady of the house was away, but her sister cooked, and I would say she was equal to the task. Mountains of delicious food for dinner and breakfast. The rooms are a bit quirky, but all comfortable... More

Many Moroccan hotels use the label "riad" nowadays but this is the real thing: a large family house offering hospitality to outside guests. The rooms are comfortable and the beautifully decorated patio has lots of nice seats for reading and relaxing. The food is amazing — a very rich breakfast and a sumptuous dinner. Riad Maryam is an oasis of... More

Beautiful riad, conveniently located. Staff makes you feel at home and you do feel like you're staying at someone's home but not in an awkward way! Large clean room, clean bathroom, good wifi and airconditioning. We were the only guests but the whole place is really calm and quiet at other times as well. Delicious food - we didn't make... More

What a lovely hotel, secluded from the busy streets of Taroudant and so, so peaceful. The hotel is charming with beautiful moroccan decor. Our room was quite simply beautiful and the owners were kind, thoughtful and charming. Breakfast. Wow. What a breakfast. The best breakfast in all Morocco, including a tagine of eggs with minced meat. Wow. I struggled to... More

What a fantastic experience! First of all - the best thing about this hotel is the food! It is amazing, and so delicious. I ate there in the evening and we just had a feast of different and delicious dishes - it was truly amazing. There were even vegetarian dishes and I was in heaven. It was not only some... More

Staying at Riad Maryam is an incredible experience, guest house is a traditional Riad which has been beautifully restored. The courtyard is gorgeous and is a wonderful place to sit and chill out. The family are very kind and attentive, the food is delicious and well presented and the place is kept very clean. I'll definitely come back here again!

We were not staying here but our hotel recommended Riad Maryam for dinner and it was amazing - the best Moroccan cooking we have had in all our five trips to various parts of Morocco.
