Super close to city center (within walking distance to central square). Wonderful place with spaceious and clean rooms. Waiters who served dinner and breakfast were very unfriendly. Overall nic stay, but too expensive.

We (a group of 7 on an Intrepid tour) had an unexpected 1 night stay here as the destination we were planning to go to had to be abondoned due to road closures as a result of heavy snow. Beautiful grounds & orange trees abound once your past the front door & what a pity we're in winter as the...

This hotel is in a very quiet location, although the outside is nothing special to look at, once inside you feel a little bit like royalty. The place is well worn and a little run down, but that adds to the charm. For something a little different, great food and a nice place for a 1 night stop over, this...

We were pleasantly surprised by our one night stay in Riad Hida. The grounds are really beautiful, especially with all the peacocks. Dining in the Pasha's great reception hall was a wonderful experience and a member of staff showed us round and told us all about the previous owner, the uncle of Queen Margarethe of Denmark! We only had an...

(The surroundings of the riad are quite rough, so be prepared and best ignore it; luckily once you are on the inside it no longer matters) The rooms are marvelous and offer a very unique opportunity to see and imagine how sultans have lived. As a fellow reviewer mentioned you need a bit of imagination to do the place justice....

The place is big with houses on the terrain in a lush garden where the oranges hang above your nose. We had the house of the Pasha himself. A large home with 4 sections. All extremely nice decorated. It is off course not easy to maintain all this. So you have to feel respect for the place. There was a...

A potentially lovely hotel but I was very disappointed with it. The rooms were very basic, no amenities at all, hot water hit and miss and no water pressure. Everything very worn and tired looking. Paint peeling off woodwork and towels absolutely threadbare. The dinner however was very tasty but the breakfast very basic and uninspiring. Lovely pool area and...

On the outside you would not expect this but this is a beautiful place.(it was a palace of the pasha) A nice well kept garden, a big swimmingpool with a pool for smal childeren, peacocks, big rooms,...We had our wonderful dinner outside on the terrace with view of the garden. The staff was very friendly.

It was a delight staying at the Hotel Palais Riad Hida (which has been converted from a palace). When my tour group arrived the place was empty, which made the place seem more magical. The grounds are full of trees and flowers with lots of little seating areas scattered around the place. There is a nice sized swimming pool there...
