La Maison d'Ete is a really nice small and friendly resort on the north west coast of Mauritius situated right on the beach, a Truly stunning setting. The staff, including manager are really friendly and attentive. The menu is varied and only local produce used. My main were large langoustines in a garlic sauce: some of the best I have...

We arrived at Maison d'Ete for a week's holiday, having travelled around Seychelles, Madagascar and Reunion, on 16th January 2017. The hotel is staffed by the most wonderful, friendly team. Our room was perfection and looked after with real pride by the housekeeping team. The bar for cocktails was welcoming before very gastronomic dinners. Lunch was perfect with light snacks...

La Maison d'ete is an absolutely idyllic, charming small escape directly on a postcard perfect beach. Every room has a view of the beach and ocean, with some rooms being closer to the beach than others. We had booked La Vigie room direct on the beach with a large balcony with 2 chaise lounges and 4 big lounge chairs and...

When we visited in 2015, La maiden D'ete seems small in comparison to the big hotel we have stayed in the past, but we were extremely surprised how beautiful it was and our room was right on the beach in an ideal position to see the rise in the morning and our 'special' beach right in front of our room...

Beautifully located with a delightful atmosphere. Our room was spacious, airy and well equipped with everything we needed for our week long visit. The food was delicious, with Mauritian specialities as well as the more familiar things. The staff were friendly and helpful and looked after us extremely well. The pace of life is very leisurely, which suited us well...

We spent 5 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, I can honestly say it's the best boutique hotel we've EVER stayed in. The staff are so friendly withouth being overbearing and in your face, sometimes you don't want a full on conversation when you come and go from a hotel, these guys had it just right. The...

Mauritius is heavy with large super hotels but look no further for a small sophisticated stay on what I believe to be the more rugged coast line. The rooms are all beautifully appointed and scattered around small landscaped grounds and there is plenty of space for all, and good privacy. The hotel is on a small beach which we found...

The property is absolutely beautiful: small and intimate. It feels like a private paradise with views of the beautiful beach from the rooms (we stayed in nr 2 and loved it). It is tastefully decorated, never feels crowded and has a cool elegance to it that we loved. So our first impression was great. The room is small but has...

Dear Sir, Because we do not want to be like any other resort hotel and that seems to be your wish too, we have not chosen to offer a buffet service breakfast at La Maison d’Eté. As you say yourself the reason why you have chosen La Maison d’Eté is because you prefer small hotels. Evidently we have less choice...

While staying elsewhere, wanted to check out this place that I had seen on line. The setting is gorgeous and the food and service in the restaurant were great. This isn't a place for a quick bite. We wanted the experience and were not disappointed!

La Maison d’Eté was one of our favourite little discoveries on this island and only one of a few boutique-style hotels left in Mauritius. What we loved was that you could go for lunch or dinner in a quaint setting with picturesque views of the sea, maybe sip a cocktail when you arrived, sitting on a big bean-bag around the...
