We have been staying at Ambre Hotel and love the place. It’s so friendly and a real treat to be here. We have particularly enjoyed the sunrise yoga, the golf and a five-island trip with Chris and our boat driver Kenny. On the boat trip we saw dolphins, sea turtles and monkeys. It was a brilliant day out and great value for money. We would highly recommend it. We have another golf day and a tour of the south planned so far. We can’t fault our stay in Mauritius. Thank you! X

Beautiful hotel in a great location, with excellent pool and beach. Sea view Rooms are very good and spacious. Two very good restaurants with excellent choice of food, especially very obliging for vegetarians. All reception staff were very efficient for checking in and out and always very helpful at other times. Difficult to name any particular staff as all of them, in the bars, restaurants and housekeeping were very good, so helpful, obliging, polite with happy smiling faces. They looked after us extremely well. We enjoyed our two weeks there and would have happily stayed extra week. Complimentary Golf at the Iles Aux Cerf Golf course was an added bonus ! I would love to go back again.

We stayed 11 night at this lovley hotel we met lots of friendly people mauritian people are so friendly and helpful especially emmanuel(guest service) who sorted lots of things out for us and is so friendly all the staff in the whole complex are very helpfull and our room view was absaloutley beautifull it was a delux beachfront terrace with the amazing view which samantha showed us when we first arrived and also a very lovley person weve had a fantastic stay and would love to come back again in the future. Some special mentionned for Ananda, Brinda, Reshma, Pascalina, Bhavna, Karishma for their help and welcoming during our stay in the resort. Wishing them best in the future

My partner and I spent 10 days at Ambre Resort. We had a wonderful time. Breakfast at the buffet was great, with delicious pastries/pancakes. The fresh fruit was lovely, especially the Papaya. Lunch was also okay, the buffet was not great but the paninis and chips at the beach were lovely. Lunch at the Dolce Vita was also nice if you want to go for a pizza/pasta. Dinner was also nice, some nights not as great as others as sometimes the desserts were not great. The American night with the burgers and hot dogs was lovely, and the Indian night with the currys was also very nice. Our highlight of the trip was Chef Bruno at Dolce Vita, he was incredibly welcoming and his food was incredible. The service at the Dolce Vita was also great! My partner arranged a special dinner at La Plage with two lovely friends we made on the trip and the attention to detail was beautiful. The food was incredible at La Plage. Room service is very quick at responding, and all requests are usually met. I usually wanted fries for lunch and I could just ask for these at the buffet and they would be delivered which was great! Overall, everything was great. My only critique is that a night club was advertised and it was not open the whole time we were there because of COVID. The massages were amazing but the sauna/steam room was not open. The rooms are also a little tired and could do with renovations and better snacks provided in the room.
