It's closed down. What more can I say? We'd come here to Grenada to rent an apartment rather than stay in an hotel and had thought to have Christmas Lunch in a nice hotel like a Best Western. But no, it's gone. We actually had a Christmas buffet lunch at Dodgy Dock and that was lovely. The staff there are so good, especially Akira.

The Best Western is a modern building in a small and slightly scruffy shopping mall. On the plus side, the Spice Land Shopping Mall is just round the corner - a 5 minutes walk. Since spring 2011 the hotel appears to have been closed and largely boarded up. I guess that it could not compete with the good quality beach-side hotels all around it. Although Best Western usually have a solid reputation for reliable servie, this one appears to be a dead duck.

I did not know that St george would be so beautiful. The trees are bright green and the rocks are red bring your camera but leave your boob tube at home there is no nightlife to speak of. The staff were really helpful and the breakfast was busy but the food was good they didn't run out of anything. Usually I stay at the Sheraton hotels this was my first best western. I always thought you got what you paid for but this place (with help from a bad few days at a Sheraton last week) has made me change my mind some places give you more than you pay for

This hotel has lovely, comfortable rooms. Located in a shopping mall where only very few shops were opened. Website advertised GYM, but there was none. Security guards were teenages who where hardly at there post. I asked the manager/supervisor (very young lady) for a 10% discount because there was no GYM for use during stay. She argued with me that I was told this upon checking in (never happened at 0100 am in the morning that I chceked in) and refused. Breakfast at outdoors resturant was pleasant but you need a fly swatter while trying to eat. Definately would not recomment this hotel to anyone; except maybe my EX-wife.

Stayed during the Cricket World Cup, so we paid above the high season rate printed in the hotel brochure. Rooms are extremely modern and the bathroom is very nice. However the hotel is very strangely located within a shopping mall (and not a very good one at that). There are no beach facilities such as chairs etc, and no pool. Breakfast in the morning was a below average buffet selection with lots of flies to accompany you.
