If you are looking for an amazing stay right on grand anse beach this hotel is for you! Getting to the Caribbean and Grenada can be pricey but it’s well worth the investment. We were treated like royalty . Hard working staff, friendly kind and who will go the extra mile. Like Kimmie on front desk, Jarrod and rondel and of course Nicky ! Professional , Fun and laughter and a great attitude to sorting out any problems. Rooms are fine with massive TVs - top tip bring a roku box so you can watch Netflix etc. WiFi was absolutely great even on beach. Cleaners were superb who always wanted to do a great job often working very long days but committed to doing a great job . special Thanks to Kim and Vanessa. For going the extra mile and taking great pride in your work. Breakfast included local specialities like bakes, salt fish, and fruit and your usual breakfast bites. Rena , Carmen, Ronna, thank you for the jokes and service. You know I think it’s ridiculous to go anywhere and get perfect service but what you should always expect is a great attitude in getting things right and this hotel does that . An example an influx of residents on Saturday meant queues for eggs . The next morning staff opened another egg station well stocked and problem solved. ! Responsiveness was excellent. Speaking to Rena she was well aware of what areas of service need improving and cared that service was on point. I think this is excellent that clearly development is in the forefront of all staff. Grand anse beach is absolutely stunning . Paradise with lots to do and see … water sports definitely check out the under water sculpture park and snorkelling … music great food in the restaurant including delicious rotis and rum punch … lots of supetmarkets and eatery’s around. ricks, umbrellas, 61 West and if you want something really special check out dexters !!!! A night you won’t forget. The hotel has entertainment every night local talents and djs which is really pleasant … the pools are cool and you do not have to run to grab a sun lounger .,. Plenty to go around plus beach towels ……
We’ve had a fantastic stay at the Radisson beach resort. The staff on a whole made the stay even more comfortable and welcoming. Lovely senery, food, entertainment and good relaxation. All of our needed were met and any minor issues were seen and attended to promptly. Thank so much to the hard working staff.
Very nice hotel on beautiful Grand Anse Beach. Staff was very helpful and courteous especially Alana in the breakfast restaurant and Rondel at the front desk. Breakfast at the hotel was good. Went to Coconut Beach Restaurant which has amazing local food (try their spicy Grenadian stew chicken) It’s on the beach and just a 10 min walk from the Radisson. If you visit Hog Island and have a car rental, park at Whisper Cove Marina Restaurant and take a water taxi from there. It cost $50 EC round trip for 2 of us.
I enjoyed my stay immensely. If and when I get to go back on vacation I would really go back there. The staff are the best. I loved that there was an electric kettle and not just a percolator. The complimentary water was a blessing and so was the mini fridge. Could have had more channels on the TV but that was not a major issue for me.
The hotel offers a good value and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We’ve stayed here in the past and will likely stay again. The breakfast buffet was very good and offered healthy alternatives
I stayed at the Radisson from the end of June into July. It took me a while after returning to write my review because I had mixed emotions. Let me start with full disclosure that I grew up in Grenada so I am familiar with the property. This was my first time actually staying there however. On the day we were due to arrive there was a storm that went through the island resulting in the cancellation of our flight. I called ahead to let the front desk know that we will instead arrive first thing the following morning. The young lady indicated that she noted my file. I arrived the next morning to check in and the young lady at the desk looks at me in surprise. She asked me if I had contacted Hotels.com related to the change of my arrival and I explained that I called the front desk. I prepaid my reservation for a 6 day stay but would now only need 5 days (I was ok with this and not seeking any refund). The front desk informed me that they did not have a room ready for me. How could this be when I was scheduled to arrive the night prior? They offered to put my bags in "storage" and have me return at 3PM to check in. Further, I travelled with my 2 kids and made the reservation in that manner. Front desk informed me that they would need to charge me $90 a day extra for the extra person. Luckily I had a printed copy of my reservation in hand and was able to show that the original reservation was for an adult and 2 kids. A manager came over and cleared up that issue. The hotel sits on well maintained grounds and is located directly beachfront to the best beach in Grenada. Having travelled a lot throughout other resort destinations in the Caribbean, I was disappointed in the property not taking advantage of these positives. The rooms are in need of upgrades, it appears they attempted to complete some but missed details such as the shower openings releasing water onto the floor in the room as you take a shower. The popcorn ceiling should have definitely been removed. The pool with the waterfall needs to be resurfaced. The restaurants had limited options and they were not all available during our stay. Allana at the breakfast buffet is absolutely the best version of customer service I came across at the hotel. She should be the staff trainer and trust me it is needed. I was shocked that at a beach hotel the staff was forced to wear long sleeved button down shirts with bow ties and a waistcoat. Very colonial option in 2022. This could account for some of their attitudes. Give those folks something comfortable to wear. We are on vacation in paradise for crying out loud.…
Visited Grenada for a destination wedding and friends vacation. First the positives - Raddison Grenada has beautiful well kept grounds and is right on the beach. Nice amenities near by which include grocery store, bank, and bus stop right across street. Staff was helpful and kind. Honored Radisson awards and was able to add to booking. Negatives - Property is in critical need of redesign. Rooms have chipped and stained furniture. Lamps dusty. No bar soap in room luckily always carry my own. Breakfast had no variety and items were not always proper temperature. They have glass barriers to allow servers to place food on your plate but good luck finding someone present. Most of the time people just wiggled around barrier and served themselves which made process much easier. Menu and room service menu need refresh. Served hotdogs several days straight as breakfast sausage unlike first day. Bar was out of most items to make decent frozen drinks. Raddison has its upsides and can be budget friendly option while in Grenada but if I had to do it again would choose another property.…
Forced to stay here one night when AA cancelled return flight home. Room features; chipped furniture, lumpy mattress and pillows, scratchy sheets, stained towels, and crooked closet doors. As of this wasn’t worthy of 0 stars already, there was the soap situation. After washing my hands in the room and noticing no soap, despite a soap dish and obvious need for it, I went to the front desk to ask for a bar. The front desk employee informed me that that bars of soap are not not available on property. She called Housekeeping to confirm this. I was shocked; then inquired about washing hands and bathing. She told me to use shampoo, Shampoo! I told her that lack of soap was unsanitary and just plain disgusting. I also said that since I noticed hand soap in the public restroom (which was missing paper towels), I was going to take some of that. Her response was, “Go for it.” After an incredibly superb week at Sandal's, which had plenty of soap and required hand sanitizer upon entry to every restaurant, I just could not believe that Radisson would be affiliated with such a filthy, run down property. And shame on American Airlines for adding insult to injury by sending us to this nasty hotel.…
I arrived at Radisson on July 1st. I slipped & fell on some water in a hallway that was not marked with a cone. While there the management staff was extremely rude and nasty towrds me & my sister. Patricia Walcott came to our room to take a report. She had a very nasty tone & was complaining about the lightning in the room & felt intimadated all the while demanding me to remove my pants to prove there was a mark from the fall. When said she was not a doctor/nurse, she took offense. Later a doc came & examine me & prescribed some meds due to the trauma i had on my knee. We asked him to give to the hotel. Later Arlene Redhead (GM) was screaming at my sister on the phone which woke me up. She was saying the hotel did not have to call a doctor or cover the cost of meds. Finally she said she would get back to us. I got the meds but the only way we knew was because my sister went downstairs & front desk said there was stuff for the room. I was at Radisson until July 5th & not once did the management staff check on me and see if I was ok. I had to go to the doc myself on Monday due to swelling & a knot in my knee. The management staff showed they do not care about their guest at all. I will not come back to Radisson or recommend anyone else to stay there. These managers attiudes and actions were uncalled for & a turn off to me.…
