We recently had the pleasure of celebrating a recent August birthday and anniversary at SIBR and were absolutely amazed at the extraordinary service and excellent facilities. We love visiting Caribbean resorts and SIBR is now at the top of our list. The management and Staff certainly treated us like family. We WILL definitely return.

My family and I stayed at the hotel for a week (we wish it was longer!). We only have good things to say. From the minute we reached the resort, the staff made us and the kids feel special. We were greated by name and with amazing drinks and from that moment the high standards were maintained throughout our stay. The hotel is able to cater for your needs whether they are as a couple or family. There is childcare and kids clubs. The hotel is immaculate and well maintained by an army of staff who are all extremely friendly and professional. The location - wowser! The beach is fantastic and didn't get busy. At the weekends there seemed to be a few more people, as you would expect, but by no means busy. Drinks service on the beach was great. We also enjoyed some paddleboarding which was great fun. Special thanks to the staff, they really made the experience for us. Can't thank you enough for making our holiday amazing. Would 100% return and plan to do so. P.s. food and drink was excellent. The hotel has really thought of everything to take any element of potential stress out of the equation and enable you to relax and enjoy your holiday. Get booking!

This was the best and loveliest place I've ever been to. It was my first trip to the Caribbean and I wasn't disappointed. I went with a friend who had been to this resort 10 years ago, and in all her travels it was the one place where she wanted to go back to. We were met at the airport by private car, and personally greeted upon our arrival at the resort. All the staff were kind, courteous and genuinely wanted to please. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, carefully done and beautifully presented. There was beautiful tropical fruit on offer at breakfast, together with delicious fresh fruit juices, some of which I'd never seen or heard of before. The Passion Fruit Juice was my favourite. All areas were kept very clean, as were our rooms, and the beautiful gardens. I expressed an interest in some of their produce which they grow on site, and was given a tour of the Vegetable Garden. There was live music most evenings, some background, and some where we sat after dinner to enjoy. The beach is beautiful, and I did some lovely walks along the sands. The resort is expensive, but you pay for what you get. I would definitely go there again. I was made to feel special, and that is what is so important. Most of the staff greeted me by name. Soooo special. I WILL BE BACK!!!

Grenada holds a very special place in our hearts as we got married at Spice Island Beach Resort 21 years ago. We revisited Spice Island to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment you arrive to the time you leave Spice Island you do not feel like a hotel guest instead you feel part of the family. You are greeted with a warm smile and always referred to by name. We can recommend the Spice Island Classic which we were presented with on arrival ( Sorrell and Sparking Wine - it’s delicious). Before you are shown to your room you are given a short tour explaining where everything is. We chose a Seagrape Beach Suite because we wanted a sea view. Our room was very spacious with a large bathroom, large bed and a generous lounge area. Tea and coffee making facilities are in the room as well as a well stocked fridge. Both a topped up daily. We also had our own patio with sun loungers, a parasol and hammock. The rooms are fully air conditioned. The food is excellent starting with a wide choice at breakfast. Fruit, cereals, pastries, cheese and cold meat options start then follow the hot food choices. A couple of examples Eggs Benedict and Pancakes with Maple Syrup. Be aware the portions are very generous. So much so we only had breakfast and evening meal. Lunch and Afternoon Tea are also served daily if you can fit them in. 🙂. There is a lovely pool if you are not keen on the sea with plenty of sun loungers. The sea is like getting into a bath - so warm. We enjoyed the gym which is small but aptly equipped. We had a lovely Swedish massage in the Spa which we highly recommend. The staff are all very friendly always greeting you with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble. Spice Island is a wonderful relaxing place with every member of staff being a real credit to the hotel. For us it really is idyllic. When you leave you take a piece with you as it leaves you wanting to return. We will return to Spice Island as soon as we can not only for sentimental reasons but because of everyone at Spice. Thank you all for a fabulous time - you made us feel like royalty.

We recently celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary by staying at Spice Island Beach Resort and had the most AMAZING experience! The service, food, people, accommodations, location and attention to detail were the very best that we have ever experienced! Upon arrival, we were given a special local drink and given a tour of the resort on the way to our room. The meals were served in courses and each was presented so beautifully. The restaurant staff was amazing, just as you finished one course, the next was delivered. On our anniversary, they even surprised us with a gorgeous cake and a card! The couples massage was wonderful, we enjoyed yoga on the beach overlooking the beautiful Grand Anse Beach, there was a beautiful pool however we also had our own private pool. As well, they include free watersports to guests (hobie cats, kayaks, paddles boards, snorkeling gear) to enjoy on the beautiful Caribbean. They also offer scuba diving excursions as well as snorkeling trips to the Underwater Marine Park. We couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect resort to celebrate our past three decades together!🥂💞

This was our fourth time back and they exceeded our expectations. The meals were exceptional and the Almond Luxury Suite with private pool was extremely private and immaculate. The all inclusive was truly that-no hidden charges. Every employee we met was courteous and professional. Thank you for making our 50th wedding anniversary special and we will be back!

We had a private villa with a large plung pool with outdoor living at play most of the afternoons. The resort picked us up from out stay at Maca Bana and then drove us to our next destination. This was our second out 5 resorts we visited. Most of the clientele were UK citizens and the evening diner was geared to their tastes in my opinion. I was disappointed in the entrees but my wife thought the food was OK. Lunch and breakfast were ok. The fitness room was small but I used it to my advantage. Drinks were excellent. Staff was well trained and friendly.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. From the moment you arrive they make every possible effort to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The staff are so attentive, the food amazing and the beach beautiful. I am vegetarian and they made me my own menu to order from for lunch and dinner. I would highly recommend here for a truly relaxing and beautiful stay in Grenada.

We've just returned from Spice Island and once again greatly enjoyed our stay. We liked the Seagrape Room right on the beach. It's spacious, with lots of seating and the facilities are excellent. There's a lot of storage space, which we need owing to the excessive amount of stuff we bring (husband talking here). The hotel is beautifully clean, the staff members are all very friendly and efficient, and we thought the food very well presented at every meal. We aren't keen on the weekly buffet dinner, but many others seem to enjoy them. The hotel is at a great location for walking the long Anse Grande Beach, and most days we skipped over the hill to the lovely Morne Rouge Beach. We jumped in the local buses a few times to wander around St George's. When we were there all staff members were obliged to wear masks, which made communication quite difficult for me. Now that the USA's Covid restrictions have relaxed, I imagine that the mask rule will be dropped. It's quite an expensive holiday -- but we received excellent quality services for our money. We've visited Grenada many times and this hotel is one of the two best we've experienced (also Calabash). We'll be back again.
