Alvie house and the associated cottages are an ideal base from which to explore the Cairngorms. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable - and has plenty of character! Well equipped for those pursuing outdoors activities.

A lovely comfortable, well equipped cottage, in a great situation near Aviemore. Lovely open views. A great base for exploring the Cairngorms and further afield. Also quiet, relaxing, a great place to recharge if you don't want to be active. Has WiFi, DVD player, washer...More

Spent a lovely week here with friends and dogs. Plenty of walks for the dogs. Having the wood burner was real treat, cosy house all the time!!! Was a real home from home. Felt well rested and relaxed.

We stayed in Park Cottage for a weekend in early November. It was very well-equipped, had great views and was very comfortable. 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, all mod cons. The open fire was also great and the wood was provided ready for use.

Great atmosphere with mountains and trees. Lovely place for an October break. Would recommend it for a family holiday. Lots of activities available for the family and close to all the facilities in Aviemore.

Hello I have a static caravan there so I know the site well. There is a recently made walkway/cycle path that runs behind the camp parallel to the railway track. In one direction it goes to Aviemore but is quite hilly in... More

You will need to contact Dunachton Estate. Kincraig House is on Dunachton, not Alvie. You could try their main Estate Office at Fyvie, 01651 891246.Hope this helps

Kincraig House is on Dunachton Estate not Alvie, although it may have been in the Parish of Alvie at some time. I'm not sure which Estate Office you visited but I don't think it was Alvie. Hope that helps.
