We have recently returned from a week's stay in Suidhe Cottage within the grounds of the Suie Hotel. We found the cottage to be very well equipped and very spacious. It is full of character and has a very homely feel. The hot tub and the log burner really made our holiday - especially since it was a very chilly... More

I stayed at The Suie for 3 nights in January 2013 on a business trip. Mike & Wendy were by far the most hospitable hosts I have ever met, had I not been there for work I'm sure we'd have spent even longer chatting away in the bar each evening. My room had plenty of space, the only downside being... More

We stayed here in August 2012 for one night on a weekend trip to the Highlands and had a great time. The hotel was lovely with all its traditional Scottish touches and plenty of room for the kids to play on the trampoline and the fort. Our room (number 4) was very spacious and very clean, with a nice temperature... More

We stayed just one night at the Suie and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hosts Mike and Wendy made us feel like we were staying with good friends, and the character of the local pub was awesome. At one point, one of the locals started playing his bagpipes right in the cozy bar. Deafening but hilarious and a true travel experience. Our... More

I have stayed at the Suie Hotel for business and for leisure and I feel that the family who run the hotel did everything and more to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. The setting of the hotel is just stunning; a backdrop landscape of the Cairngorms and beautiful wildlife really gives the area a very Scottish country house feel.... More

Stayed at the Suie Hotel for a few nights a few weeks ago when I needed some time away from the Big Smoke. I had never been to Scotland before so had no idea what everything would be like but it turned out to tick all the boxes on my list. Location: I wanted to go somewhere rather quiet yet... More

Had 3 nights here recently and really enjoyed our stay. Great location near some fantastic walks and things to do. Good, home cooked meals and a friendly bar to while away evenings drinking the locally brewed Cairngorms ale. The couple who own the hotel are knowledgeable about the area and friendly without being intrusive.Would happily revisit when we have the... More

Just back from a long weekend at suidhe cottage with my children and parents. The cottage is beautiful. Excellent location and plenty for the kids to play on in the hotel garden. Hot tub was fantastic as well. Beds very comfortable with lovely cosy duvets. Well equipped kitchen although would benefit from a small freezer. Kids loved the bunk beds.... More

Stopped with a group of 8 cyclists - hospitality superb, our host was kind, generous and great sense of humour! Rooms superb, food excellent. Roaring fire in pub just the thing to lift weary cyclist spirits!

Possibly the most enjoyable holiday experience my friends and myself have ever encountered! After countless trips to the French and Swiss alps during the previous winters, a tight budget and countless recommendations led us to the Highlands. Initially we had booked accommodation in Aviemore itself but after a quick Apres Ski drink in the now legendary Suie Bar we swiftly... More

“Selected swimming pool above as the hot-tub was sooo cool. There is one double bedroom that has the bunk bedroom off it (so if you are sleeping in the bunk bed room - you have to walk through one of the double rooms to go to the loo - or anywhere). This is clearly stated when you book the Cottage - but just as an extra note - that is the only downfall at all of the rooms.”
