We needed a place to stay for 1 night before getting the ferry. We arrived at Phalarn in and were told that they had no budget rooms (500 THB) left, only the more expensive rooms for 1,400 THB. We declined and were walking away when they called us back and said they had 'found' a room for 900 THB. They...

We stayed in two different room types. A small one and a smaller one. One with TV, one without TV. One for 1.400 Baht, one for 500 Baht. I really reccomend the smaller one, because we didn´t need the TV and the difference between the two room types is not sooooo big. You should not expect that there is a...

I book this hotel months in advance specifically because I was going for new years eve, so I know how hard it is to get a reservation on those dates. The moment I've arrive a non English speaking person handles me the phone. It was the owner explaining me that they needed to send me to another hotel because they...

We took a 400 Baht room, fair enough. Very small, no table, fan only, toilet not up to standard, cold water shower. Food a bit expensive. On the other hand there is a nice pool and a friendly reception.

We had an amazing experience staying here, We were skeptical of Koh Samui because of the main beach / area of the island was heavily populated and crowded. Phalarn inn was off the beaten track, but offered us everything we needed. Amazing food, Pleasant staff, affordable accomodation and even scooter rentals right at the resort! I'd highly recommend this place...

We were 3 families with a total of 8 persons (age from 11 - 58 years old) staying 14 days at Phalarn Inn. We ordered 3 different kind of bungalows (I w/ 2 bedrooms, and 2 with 1 bedroom). We chosed Phalarn based on reviews on Tripadvisor and booked it via web. The service from the owner (Sugar) and staff...

Having arrived in Samui at Lamai beach, my girlfriend and I were hugely disappointed by the crowded, touristy nature of the area. Therefore, arriving in Mae Nam at the Phalarn Inn was a brilliant relief. The hotel was down off the main road, set just off a smaller, quiet road filled with various nice looking little restaurants and coffee shops....
