This is a very good place to stay. The hosts Karen and Alan were most welcoming and the house has such a lot of history to it with a very nice enclosed garden. Our bedrooms were perfect for all of us. It was our son’s wedding at Priston Mill so very convenient for getting to the church and venue. We... More

Been back to Riverside Lodge again this year for our 5th visit. It is the perfect place to stay to visit the cities of Bath and Bristol and the wonderful countryside around the area. The welcome you receive from Karen and Alan is guaranteed to be warm and friendly. The breakfasts are fantastic, and served at a time convenient to... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Riverside Lodge tremendously. The house and its rooms are charming and the garden is just adorable. Karen and Alan were warm, friendly and knowledgeable hosts. They could tell us a lot about Bath, its history and the local area.

We spent one night in Karen and Alan's B&B and it was a lovely experience. Karen greeted us on arrival and she was so welcoming sharing a lot of information regarding the area, which was really helpful to us since we wanted to go and visit Bath. We were a family of 4 (2 teenage daughters). The bedrooms were beautiful,... More

Karen and Alan were very friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfasts were excellent and at a time of our choosing. Would stay there again. Peaceful and quiet area, secure car parking and free to come and go as we pleased.

We recently spent 3 nights at the Riverside Lodge with Alan and Karen, the charming hosts and proprietors. The location is lovely, well located for visiting Bath and other surrounding villages. The bed and bath facilities were great with plenty of room and privacy. For visitors unfamiliar with the area, the best part was the helpful advice and suggestions of... More

We had quite a job to find this B&B. Postcode sent us to the next road along. Parking was a bit of a juggling act. Obviously not a dedicated B&B as our room, supposedly a double ( well it had a double bed in...just!) had a wardrobe half full of someone else's clothes + a fold up bed + linen.... More

I think we must have been staying at a different B&B from other reviewers. Firstly, our hosts were indeed friendly and pleasant BUT the house is hard to find as the postcode took us to a different road. This house is not marked as a B&B and we had a frustrating time asking around the village if anyone had heard... More

My boyfriend and I wanted to stay slightly off Bath City Centre to avoid the expensive parking cost but close enough so that it will be convenient for going in and out of the city. Riverside Lodge is a great base for our shopping trips. Quaint house with quintessentially English decor which was nice. Beautiful dog Hattie who is simply... More

I was attending a friend's wedding at Priston Mills and struggling to find accommodation, but luckily for me and my other half that another local B&B recommended the Riverside Lodge. I can safely say that it is possibly one of the best B&B's that I have ever stayed at. The venue was actually wonderful with great customer service shown from... More
