I'd like to come back soon! Ellen is a wonderful host. The excellent located B&B near a beautiful coastline invites to come back. Well-designed rooms with mosquito-protection, which was quite important, because we forget our anti-mosquito spray. Ellen was really helpful, she gave us for...More

Thank you so much for your nice review, Jens. I appreciate it doubly since you wrote it in English. Great having the two of you and I hope to see you back here again. 'A presto', Ellen
Helen is a fabulous host. Her home has a New England feel, such so that after two weeks beng in Toscana, I took her homemake muffins for granted thinking I was back home in the US.

We are a newly renovated 4-bedroom B&B located in an old farm house on a hilltop just 1.5 km from the lovely, sandy beaches of the Gulf of Punta Ala. You can see the Island of Elba from the house, and there ...Moreis always a nice breeze to keep you cool in the summer. Breakfast is eaten in the hall with a vaulted ceiling. All facilities (tennis, sailing, bike rentals, restaurants and supermarket)as well as free parking for the beach, are available to our guests at the nearby PuntAla Camping Resort. I answered the question directly to the client, explaining that we live on a hilltop just a mile from the sea. The house has good ventilation and very thick stone walls since it was built over 200 years ago. I have fans in all bedrooms, but see that they are rarely used. In all my years of the B&B only once did a guest leave because there was no AC. They had not even asked the question before and were disappointed. Of course, we could always have a heat wave, and then it's warm everywhere, but we usually have a land breeze in the morning and a sea breeze in the afternoon.
