My family (me, my wife and two boys 11 &9) stayed at Risalpiano for 3 nights. Valentina was a wonderful host, an incredibly hard working person. She was very responsive, and always there if we needed anything. The property is fantastic, the views at dinner are incredible, and the food was excellent. I was very impressed by the pasta dishes and the Bistecca alla Fiorentina. Pontasieve is a 10 minute drive for anything you need, the train station there gets you to Florence in 30 minutes, and parking is free. The room was clean, and exactly what we were looking for, the bed was comfortable (slept like a baby).
In summary, perfect place to stay if you want to experience the Tuscan country side with options to get to the major cities easily.

Valentina is the most wonderful host and incredibly friendly. Her b&b is beautifully kept in the Tuscan hills and her food is something else; her ragu was one of the best things my partner ate - genuinely one of the best meals we have ever had. She happily organised a wine tasting for us at a local vineyard, which was great, and dinner at another restaurant when hers was shut on Tuesday. We cannot recommend it enough - we wish we had stayed longer but will be back!

So glad we found this place, and stayed out in the Tuscany area instead of in the city. The peaceful countryside, beautiful views, and delicious cuisine made for the best experience! The dinners here were the most fresh and delicious we ate in Italy! Valentina and all the staff were wonderful hosts. Rental car allowed us to explore local towns/cities and the countryside easily. We want to definitely return someday!

We loved it here! The host was so friendly, the view was amazing and the bistecca fiorentina to die for! The host showed us the piece before preparing it. Also try their homemade olive oil. We will come back here next time we’re in Tuscany!

Only two nights in this agriturismo, but we left the place very satisfied.
The rooms are simple, but in the Tuscan style. My wife loved the room (Lavanda). Since you are in the middle of the vineyards and fields, the place is very quiet. We witnessed a beautiful sunset by the olive trees in front of the agriturismo and had two delicious meals in their restaurant. By the way, you can dine drinking the wines you've bought during your trips through Tuscany. I recommend the Frescobaldi wines you can buy at Castello di Nipozzano, that is a stone's throw from the agriturismo. Their bistecca Fiorentina is another recommended choice in the menu.
We had little contact with the staff, but always very kind and helpful.

We went to Agriturismo Risalpiano due to a recommendation.
We had dinner twice and the typical tuscan food was excellent! (I love "pappa al pomodoro") The view is amazing!
We have never experienced such a hearty hospitality!
To go to Florence we first took the car to Pontassieve and after that the train to Florence (total ca. 35 minutes). In Pontasssieve is a free parking place. This a good option because it is very difficult to find a (free) parking place in Florence and the train station in Florence is in the center.
There is also the possibility to hike, go on a bike ride or just relax at the swimming pool.

We stayed two days at Risalpiano estate Saturday and Sunday for Sunday evening celebrate my husband's birthday.
the room nothing special We suffered hot because there is not even air conditioning, wonderful views, swimming pool nice decent breakfast nothing exceptional as read in the reviews, food during our stay good meat great, but as for the birthday surprise I tried a little complicity of Mrs Valentina already from the phone was grumpy is always uncooperative, the very kind staff, I really wanted to have a surprise party as I said what to do to organize the party showed indifference is very much on his but the most disappointing thing was the birthday dinner the first salty, the meat grilled black and lasts nothing fresh all the dinner was heated and served unfortunately in the face of my friends and relatives you could read very well the disappointment of dinner, despite all the cost of living to make the celebrations
did not even have the courtesy to come to greet us since it was the last night of our stay there, at this point politely we said that x business reasons you left before breakfast I must say that the bill was also very high
