This is one of the most beautiful spots in one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and the camp is perfectly located in a generously sized strip of land along the seafront, with the noise of the breaking waves throughout. Good for walking (several km of hillside and rocky shore paths), guided activities (kayaking/lilo/scuba/.snorkelling - see listing for...

Storms River Mouth Restcamp is one of the most beautiful spots in all of the Garden Route and definitely worth a visit if you are travelling in the area. It boasts a range of activities for all levels of adventurers. On this trip we enjoyed great snorkeling and saw stingrays every day. I can also recommend one of the hiking...

Stan and Sean were our river guides - brilliant, funny, entertaining and informative. This was the first time we have done river kayaking, liloing and cliff diving/jumping (only 3m up) but it was absolutely awesome and the kids (8 & 11) did all the activities too. A very worthwhile experience.

Spent the day at the mouth for the first time. The fact that the restaurant had recently burnt down probably detracted the experience of the area. However the pop up temporary restaurant seemed well organised and was buzzing while we were there. I do suggest bringing along an umbrella if you are planning to picnic as there is little to...

We drove a few kilometers to eat in the evening and got ourself food from shops, if you know that it's not a problem. We still had such...

We stayed in one of the oceanettes and got to see the crashing waves up close. The setting is very beautiful and surreal, and the suspension bridge is just an hour's hike back and fro the edge of the camp. The accommodation was very clean, and there were fresh towels provided with hot water in the middle of the night....

The setting is brilliant with outstanding views of seas, waves and rocks. The rooms are well equipped and very clean and obviously the views...... We were unlucky that the day we arrived there was a fire at the restaurant but even that did not dampen our view.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom family chalet on the waterfront - number 9. Everything was clean and comfortable. Main bedroom has wide views of the seafront. We were elevated and had a balcony with an outdoor table and chairs. This is my second visit and the Rest Camp area is now much busier than last time - with cycling...

We booked 2 nights in one of the chalets. The check in process was very slow indeed. When we arrived at our chalet four coaches were parked outside it. As people got on and off the coaches they were all milling around the chalet. As soon as one coach left another arrived. Spoke to management who said coaches shouldn't be...

I very recently visited this Restcamp and stayed in one of the and stayed in one of the one bed roomed chalets just above the main road to the restaurant. On our arrival they were pumping out the septic tank, caused spilling right in front of the unit, without an effort to wash it down. Fortunately the weather was good...
