We stayed in one of the oceanettes and got to see the crashing waves up close. The setting is very beautiful and surreal, and the suspension bridge is just an hour's hike back and fro the edge of the camp. The accommodation was very clean, and there were fresh towels provided with hot water in the middle of the night....

The setting is brilliant with outstanding views of seas, waves and rocks. The rooms are well equipped and very clean and obviously the views...... We were unlucky that the day we arrived there was a fire at the restaurant but even that did not dampen our view.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom family chalet on the waterfront - number 9. Everything was clean and comfortable. Main bedroom has wide views of the seafront. We were elevated and had a balcony with an outdoor table and chairs. This is my second visit and the Rest Camp area is now much busier than last time - with cycling...

We booked 2 nights in one of the chalets. The check in process was very slow indeed. When we arrived at our chalet four coaches were parked outside it. As people got on and off the coaches they were all milling around the chalet. As soon as one coach left another arrived. Spoke to management who said coaches shouldn't be...

I very recently visited this Restcamp and stayed in one of the and stayed in one of the one bed roomed chalets just above the main road to the restaurant. On our arrival they were pumping out the septic tank, caused spilling right in front of the unit, without an effort to wash it down. Fortunately the weather was good...

My husband and I spent two nights here in one of the chalets. It's a beautiful spot to relax, enjoy some oceanside walks and the swing bridge is cool. We did all the short hikes it the area in just one day. Included the three suspension bridges and two stunningly beautiful waterfalls. Would definitely recommend the self-catering option as the...

We stayed the first night in one of the 2 sleeper forest huts. The hut had shared cooking facilities but its own ablutions, which was good as it was absolutely freezing on the night we stayed there, with no heater, though they did provide an extra blanket. The hut is well equipped and has a microwave, kettle and no fridge,...

We stayed here twice already, both times in huts. The huts are well equipped and clean. We enjoyed staying here, especially in the honeymoon cabin that is directly on the ocean. Sitting in the lounge watching the waves break on the rocks was great, even though it was raining. Don't expect a five or even four star stay - it...

We enjoyed a few days in one of the bungalows on the rocks. It was our first few days of our Garden Route trip and we loved the view and up-close encounter with the ocean. Our cabin was private and well-equipped. Strongly recommended

Storms river mouth rest camp is the perfect place to stay to enjoy the spectacular coastal scenery. The wooden chalets nestle right on the sea front and every room has uninterrupted views of the sea. To wake up each morning to an amazing sunrise over the sea was magical. The chalets are perfectly placed to enjoy Forrest and coastal walks...
