This place exceeded our expectations. As students, we needed somewhere to put our tent. This was super affordable and we got to enjoy the pool, the giant firepit, their restaurant (also GREAT, affordable food), and bar during our stay. Great vibes, people, etc. Felt safe and like we were at home. Thanks Tube n Axes!

My friend and I visited Tube n Axe with our 2 kids. When we arrived we were greeted by a vibey warm lodge. A huge fire setting the atmosphere and a little restuarant and bar serving good food. Our room was fresh, comfortable and clean with a great shower and towels. The staff were awesome and always friendly. The garden...

We stayed at Tube n Axe before and after walking the Otter Trail from Storms River to Nature's Valley. I would recommend it, the rooms were comfortable, showers hot and bathrooms clean. Staff were helpful and there was excellent breakfast and dinner.

We were looking for an overnight stop on our way back home to EL from CT and found this place. We were not expecting much as it is advertised as a backpackers' but it turned out to be a very good choice. We had a good dinner in the restaurant and a very comfortable room. The manager Mitch certainly made...

A nice and friendly hostel. Promotes interaction with other guests around the fireplace and the pool in common areas. Staff was helpful in booking our trips and giving us tips on what to do for the days we were there. The outhouse bathroom was a little but scary at first but a nice surprice once you get to use it....

We stayed in a tent which had a great mattress and a light, nice living area and food. Staff were very friendly, a quiet town with almost nothing in it - just many outdoor activities very close by. Only had cold water in the outdoor showers, but fortunately it was warm weather.
