A beautiful chateau in a quiet, rural location about 40 minutes south of Chartres. Our room was in one of the nicely restored outbuildings and was very comfortable; it had a good size bathroom with walk-in shower. Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice. Only issue was with the rather laisser faire attitude of the staff. At check in we...

We'd made a 10 day road trip from the middle of France to Dundee, Scotland to attend our youngest sons wedding. This château was the last of our 7 hotels, our treat to ourselves and only 3 hours from home. We paid the lowest price of €80 and had a spotless en-suite room, in one of the renovated buildings next...

Fabulous French Chateau. Lovely renovated outbuildings. Bedroom was very comfortable, even in very hot weather. Able to open windows to let in air and not a sound could be heard. Location is very rural but quite accessible to nearby towns for various dining options. Management were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with many choices available.

Trying to find this hidden gem without the use of GPS would seem nigh onto impossible. We employed two - our Garmin Nuvi which we had brought along on our driving trip after I had pre-programmed it back home and the GPS installed in our Renault rental car. We still drove past the entrance twice on that dark, narrow country...

We stayed on a Sunday night while travelling south in France by car making our choice to stay there based on convenience, price and the Trip Advosor rating. We arrived a bit early for check in and the Manager helped us to do so with our French and his English barely intersecting. He also furnished us with a local map...

This property is a nicely restored Chateaux in the middle of the forest. It is well off the beaten path, quiet, and tranquil. It has no restaurant, therefore it must be considered as a high-end bed and breakfast, or a high end 2 star hotel. A car is essential, both to get to the property and to get out for...

we spent three very pleasant nights at the Domaine de Moresville in one of the annex rooms. The rural setting was welcome and charming. In the long spring evenings the fields were alive with cottontail rabbits, hares, courting pheasants, and the occasional deer. The vast fields of rapeseed in intense yellow bloom were punctuated with dark copses. Gorgeous! The Domaine...

Travelling down through France, we decided to treat ourselves and stay at a Chateaux. Domaine de Moresville had rooms at a very reasonable price. We had a friendly greeting, a tour of the public areas in the main house, and then relaxed with a glass of good wine. It was a little chilly and windy (October), but our bedrooms were...

On a business trip, we were put here with a group of people. When you enter the premisses, your expectations of staying in an authentic room rise - the main building looks absolutely great. My disappointment was big when I found out my room was not in the main building but in one of the smaller building that I referred...
