We had a week's holiday at Little Lanherne Farm in St Mawgan and various members of the family visited the Falcon for drinks and dinner one evening. The pub is very welcoming and quite busy for a pub in such a small village. There was a good selection of beers to choose from and the ladies enjoyed the wine. We...

Out for the day at St.Mawgan and called for an early evening meal. This is a real English pub with locals mixing with tourists and all having a great time. We opted for a restaurant meal and were served up some nice scampi and excellent fish and chips. Mine host was helpful in advising on local events and the history...

We stop here on walks in the area. It's a friendly, welcoming atmosphere which serves hearty pub food, generous and well cooked. This lunch was mid-walk with friends visiting from overseas. The raspberry and white chocolate chip cheesecake went down a treat! We're bound to be back soon.

Fantastic food and setting, lovely garden when the weather is good. The food was plentiful and tasty and the staff looked after us well. We went as a family of 8 adults and one child of just over 2 years and all of us had 2 or 3 courses. Fully recommended

We were welcomed straight away when we walked in, the log burner was very cosy and warm, made us feel at home. We had our Anniversary meal with our eleven friends, the food was amazing. We will be going back again for meals and the lovely atmosphere.

Stopped here with the family for lunch shortly before Christmas as we were passing by. Lovely little pub - very welcoming, and happy with the children coming in. The log burner gave the whole place a cosy feel. The food was good, the ale (Doom Bar, brewed just up the road) excellent and the service swift. Can't ask for much...

Dropped in after a brief stop in St Mawgan. Food was fantastic, had the Tandoori Chicken Sandwich. Keep that on the menu when it changes .... pity we couldn't get back before coming home. Beautiful place for a walk out.

Loved the Falcon. Hosts couldn't be warmer or more accomodating. Pub is a favourite with locals so there are always characters there with obligatory dogs in tow. Food is great - fresh fish and best ploughmans. But rooms are the biggest surprise. We took 2 of the 3 rooms in the pub and they were charming, cosy, not too small....

I suppose the important question is “would we go back again?” – the answer is “absolutely, yes”. We were a family group of five adults, having a 'Birthday Lunch' to celebrate my mother's 80th. We had never been before, but Mum had heard it was good and wanted to try it. We booked in advance, although as it turned out...
