Wonderful old fashioned hotel, restaurant and drinking place. Steep in history, relaxing lounge (except for the chiming clocks, annoying) the staff are very nice and pleasant, a little expensive for drinks, but cant expect anything different with it been a wonderful hotel

We really don't think that this hotel is suitable for anyone with mobility problems - we could be wrong - we were very happy with our room but it was only accessed by stairs as most seemed to be! Access from car park was quite steep and uneven.We think that there must be an alternative venue near by more suitable - check with Tourists Information? Colin
