Loved this place so much! It came with everything you need for a family . It had a full kitchen , was comfy and Ruth was super attentive. I loved the location, close ti the coast , close to many beaches . They had board games to borrow , as well as outdoor games , fire pit and bbq fir use . My whole family loved it. Would stay here again .

First of all, this place is located near the shores, in a beautiful part of the Island, near the red sand beaches, in a quiet, well isolated location. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, clean, and beds are comfortable. We didn't use them, but you can access BBQ, if you need, as well as cooking in the rooms. The decoration is a bit old fashion, but this is not a big issue, as this is almost "accommodation at the farm" type of lodging.

We only stayed a single night at the Lodge, but I really enjoyed my time there. The units are very spacious. The host family, who live upstairs, was very nice. Television reception was excellent. The best thing about this place is the location. It is in a beautiful quiet area of PEI, close to French River. If you visit this area, you have to see Cape Tryon lighthouse, which is just down a road opposite the property. Be sure to visit the lighthouse at sunrise and sunset for what has to be one of the best views on the island (and be sure to follow the trench below the fence for an even better view).
The beds at the Lodge were comfortable. The only reasons I cannot give a higher rating were the fact that the units do not have air conditioning, although they did cool down significantly after dark, and the fact that there were so many flies. Everything else about the place I loved and I would happily go back to this Lodge again in the future.
