We stayed here our first night in Ireland after driving down from Dublin. The property is easy to find and has a country feel to it. The room was large, comfortable, and quiet. The B&B is beautifully decorated, and has maintained its country house feel. The hosts were amazing, greeting us and getting us settled in quickly. We loved walking the grounds and met Kenny and Ronnie, the 2 resident donkeys along with a group of chickens. We explored the castle, walking through the old ruins and climbing stairs to the top. Though it is not large, it gave us a great feel for what was to come for our remaining days in Ireland. The breakfast was over the top excellent! Food was of high quality, and definitely homemade. Next time we are in Wexford, we want to return and stay a few nights.

Lovely B&B in Wexford, perfect place to stay if you're doing a coastal route of Ireland. We had a lovely large comfortable room with en-suite. This B&B is situated in lovely grounds which you can explore. The hosts are welcoming. There was complimentary home baked cakes available to help ourselves to with unlimited tea and coffee. There was also a well stocked wine fridge. The breakfast menu is quite vast a lot of which is cooked to order. Would definitely stay here again. What a lovely lovely place.

I stayed overnight on my way to Rosslare ferry. Patrycja was very welcoming. What a hard working lady! She never stops. I had a large room overlooking the grounds, which was very pleasant. Very clean. Comfortable bed. There were tea making facilities in the room but I chose to avail myself of the facilities downstairs, which included home made cake and cookies. What a lovely welcoming touch. There is also a residents lounge which I didn't use. I had an early start for the ferry the next morning. Patrycja ensured that I was up on time and my breakfast was ready. (Please note, she doesn't cook breakfasts at ridiculously early times, which is reasonable) . I had a cold buffet and a small coked Irish breakfast. It was perfect. Much better than eating on the ferry. Home made jams and marmalade were available, which looked lovely. She is an excellent cook, as well as running the B and B, and raising a family. The location is wonderful. I had a quick walk round the grounds on arrival, very interesting. Very quiet and peaceful, yet within minutes of the bustling ferry port. Hopefully, I will return next time I am using the ferry to Ireland.

My husband and I spent our first night in Ireland here at this beautiful place after arriving in Dublin that morning. It was a gorgeous ride from Dublin with stops at the Powerscourt Gardens and Glendalough. Thank you for the suggestions! We had a warm welcome and a complimentary glass of wine in the stunning room. Breakfast in the pretty dining room was absolutely delicious. We didn’t get to wander the grounds as it was very rainy but we certainly loved our stay. Highly recommended to all visitors! We hope to return.

Killiane Castle is one of my favorite places we stayed during our 7 day trip through Ireland. We stayed for 1 night in Oct 2023 in the country house portion of the estate. It was incredibly charming, like something from a fairytale. Our room was very large, as was the bathroom, which even had a tub so we could soak our feet after a long day. Everything was so thoughtful and intentional, we could tell that the hosts take great care of the house and the rooms. There was a tea room downstairs with cake and biscuits available to guests, as well as tea and coffee in our room. In the morning, it was raining softly and we opened the windows and listened to the crows cawing in the big trees outside. We opted to not have breakfast because we had an early morning drive, but I wish we had because it smelled so amazing. We did go and explore the castle itself, which was very cool, and the view from the top was amazing. The country house itself is not part of the "castle" proper, which is a ruined structure not suitable for habitation, but many of the walls and such from the old fortifications are used as bases for the modern constructions on the estate. It was a very cool mix of old and new right on top of each other. I would definitely stay at Killiane Castle again, and I would add the breakfast to our stay next time!

We were on a 10 day Scotland/Ireland trip and this was our first night in Ireland. Upon our arrival, after we marveled at the drive up to the country house, and again when we pulled up to the front of the castle, we were in love. Our host, Paul, greeted us, and informed us he was upgrading us to a room in the main part of the house because there had been a cancellation. We had originally booked an apartment, and I'm sure it would have been nice too but Paul seemed convincing that this was an upgrade. Our room was charming, meticulously clean, and cozy. Paul made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our short 1 night stay, and we enjoyed walking the property and exploring nearby Wexford for dinner. Of all our hotels and B&B's we stayed, this one was my favorite! In the morning, before we departed, we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast in the small dining room on the main floor. We would definitely come back!

Killiane was recommended to us by friends, and what a super recommendation it was. Hosts Paul and Patricia (incorrectly spelt - sorry) are perfect and nothing is too much of a problem. The rooms are beautifully appointed, and there is plenty to do in and around the estate. Aside from our hosts the star of the show was breakfast - probably one of the best breakfast buffets you will come across in terms of presentation and variety, and then the ability to order a choice from the cooked menu. Wonderful - thank you!

A special place to stay in every sense, this country house close to Wexford and Rosslare adjoins a partially ruined castle and working farm. It made an ideal first night stop before a week touring Ireland after arriving by ferry into Rosslare, but left us wishing we had booked for longer. Our room (8) was very comfortable and had lovely views over the farmland from the top corner of the house. We were given a very warm welcome by the owner Patrycja, who continued to make us feel very at home throughout our stay. It was particularly enjoyable to spend an evening with a couple of drinks in the cosy lounge chatting with fellow guests. Breakfast ranked among the best we have ever had, with an amazing buffet of home-produced granola, fruit and yoghurts and a separate menu of cooked options - loved Patrycja's potato cake! A final treat was the farm walk, a wander of about a mile around the border of the farm, ending under the shadow of the old castle walls. I hope we can return at some point in the future.

This place is an absolute gem! We arrived on our first night in Ireland after a flight from the U.S. and a few hour drive. We were exhausted, and the greeting we received from Patrycja and Paul was wonderful. The house is warm and inviting, and we were offered home baked pastries and coffee / tea while we settled in. Exploring the grounds is a serene experience. We had a beautiful view of the fields from our room and the sounds of nature were very calming. Maybe it was the jet lag, but we both slept so soundly that first night and the room and bed were extremely comfortable (best bed we slept in during our entire trip). The bathroom was beautifully updated, and the breakfast Paul served us the next morning was so fresh and delicious! We were even able to chat for a few minutes with Paul's father and learn about the history of the property. I just can't say enough good things about this place. If you are looking for a beautiful place tucked away in the country away from it all, this is it! A must stay when in Wexford!

Haven’t stayed here before but will definitely come back. Every tiny detail has been attended to in order to make your stay an enjoyable and special one. What stands out to me is the breakfast which is one of the best I’ve ever had in an Irish hotel , and I’ve had lots of excellent ones! If you’re looking for a really comfortable, homely place to stay , surrounded by lush green fields yet very near Wexford town with really friendly hosts who are super professional in everything they do , then this is the place for you. Cannot recommend it enough.
