Stayed in this wonderful hotel the night before and night after my recent 24hr race and found it to be a wonderful and peaceful stay.Only 4K from Wexford town. The staff couldn't do enough for me and were all very friendly. Will definitely be staying here again and the stunning Johnstown Castle is close by.
A pleasant hotel just outside Wexford, nicely sited for travellers going to/from the ferry at Rosslare. The restaurant has a good menu and the food is of excellent quality with very good portions. The beer is well kept and the wine is of reasonable quality. Service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Breakfasts start early enough for travellers using the Early morning Irish Ferries although not for Stena line passengers. The bedrooms are a reasonable size and comfortable. The bathrooms are well finished and clean. My only issue was the size of the beds and TVs. We stayed there twice both coming in and leaving Ireland and had a different room each time. In Room 32, the double bed was quite small and uncomfortably short and the television was too small to watch comfortably. In Room 29 (a family room) the bed was much bigger and more comfortable (although still described as a double) and the television too was bigger. I know which room and bed I preferred. Perhaps the hotel could look at updating their room descriptions to make it easier to decide which type of room to book.…
Stayed for three nights for a conference. The staff were fantastic & accommodated our every need, nothing was a problem & they were happy to help. I stayed in a beautifully decorated room that was spotless. Great breakfast too. Highly recommend this hotel.
Stayed for one night and only sorry had not booked longer. Room was basic but importantly clean. Had a meal in the Bar, I usually , when away go for dessert, but could'nt fit anything else after a fish dish that was delicious. Breakfast the next morning was table service with a lovely lady , chatting away and making us feel so welcome. Breakfast was lovely. Parking was free, and wi-fi fine Just a word for the barman on duty the night we were there, I think his name was Pat, just a lovely person to deal with, nothing too much trouble and made us feel so welcome.
We stayed here for one night in a family room, at a rate of €120 including breakfast for 3 people, which represented great value for money. There was good communication prior to our stay in arranging the booking. The hotel is located just a few km from Wexford Town, with a bus stop outside and a few mins drive into town if arriving by car. It's also well located for Rosslare Europort. We arrived late and were checked in by a friendly and efficient night porter. The room was very cosy, well appointed and clearly has been modernised recently - particularly the very new and modern bathroom! The shining star during our stay was our lovely breakfast waitress Rachel, who was so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. A gem! Thank you Rachel. The food at breakfast was very tasty and plentiful, and we appreciated being able to mix and match from the menu items also. Our only comment would be the receptionist on our departure could have been a bit friendlier and proactive - for example, it would have been nice of her to ask 'how was your stay?' on our departure. She also wasn't aware of the rate we were quoted. Just a small thing but the arrival and departure points are things guests remember! We will certainly return again the next time we visit Wexford!…
was at the hotel for a week for a course. i can only say what a amazing experience it was. staff were so helpful, rooms were adequate clean and good size. wifi good, the food was exceptional. tested positive for covid when there and the staff were so good and couldn't do enough for me. 10 out of 10 for me

Just back from the Farmers Kitchen. The room was very clean. Had dinner and it was amazing food and amazing value. Booked a break again in July. Staff were lovely and very helpful. 5 stars plus for service
Fantastic food and fantastic service. Really couldn’t fault it. And the fact that they have a separate gluten free coeliac safe menu is a huge bonus! (Dedicated vegan menu available also). Booking ahead at the weekend would be advisable as it’s been quite busy both times we visited
went out for a meal Sunday evening. Busy almost all tables full. Everything done right and tables well apart. Lovely meal service excellent s usual. Only open after week closed for refurbishment, assumed prices would go up but they didn't thank God. Keep up the good work.
