Please note that k's house no longer provides pickup service from kawaguchiko train station. We took taxi to the hostel which costs at around 730~1000JPY. Other parts of the hotel are as described by other travelers. Clean, good service, large kitchen.....etc. i would like to stay in K's house again if I come back to visit this area. I would...

Good dorms, more space than expected with less beds in a room. Fabulous kitchen/dining/lounge area & great english speaking friendly & helpful staff. The only thing I found lacking - more about the town than the hostel - is any liveliness. I didn't want a party hostel but it would be prefereable to have a linked bar as seemed the...

My visit to japan isn't complete without mount fuji. So I headed to kawaguchico for the stunning view. However I did not realized that there are actually two branches of this hostel in the same city. I happen to find the other one and ended up walking double than what I am suppose to do! But anyways it was the...

The property easily reached by bus (5-10minutes) from kawaguchiko station. The staff were helpful and speak English. The room was very clean and spacious. They also have kitchen and a nice utility room for gathering.

K's house mt Fuji is a brilliant hostel with great facilities in a great location. My dorm was very pleasant, clean and my bunk was super comfortable. The bathroom, kitchen, and common room facilities were brilliant. The wifi was very, very good. The staff were definitely the best thing about this hostel - they are all incredibly helpful, eager to...

Fantastic! Cook up a little something using their excellent kitchen. Eat in out in their bright garden. Chill out in the clean and comfortable communal area. Get a good night's sleep in the private sleeping areas (despite being dorms) which were also equipped with usb plugs. Very helpful staff. Bike rental. View of Fuji wasn't too bad either.

Booked the japanese private room, we stayed in about 5 of these throughout japan and this was the best. You can see Fuji from the road, great location to the Lake, 7 elevens near by for cash, walking distance to everything. Its a little trek from the train/bus station if you have heavy bags but if your back packing your...

It's about a twenty minute walk from the train station, but one of the sightseeing bus routes stops nearby. There is no lift, so be aware you may need to take your luggage up a few flights of stairs. Otherwise it's quite a nice place - clean and comfortable rooms, a view of Fuji from some of the windows on...
